I am going to get ripped apart for this comment, but wouldn't it be the most hilarious thing if Moorhead didn't make it to the state tournament even. If they just chose not to come play one night and got knocked off by Roseau, or Apollo.

I know, I just didn't want to say Roseau as the only team. There would be riots anywhere if someone knocked off Moorhead in the playoffs before state. Section 8AA is very weak this season.

What's a snore about nearly every single state championship since the 2000 season? I think a snore is getting within reach of the state tournament trophy how many times and watching it sloooowwwllly slowly slowly slip through your fingers year after year. Actually less of a snore, more of a suicide.

Look, section 8-just do us all a favor. If you don't win it this year-give up. There's no reason Moorhead shouldn't cruise to an undefeated season state championship. This aint Boston. If you don't win this year...quit. No use being a faker year after year. Your town must start to hate you.

Yes, Apollo can not...didn't they just lose to Alex. Sad. But Roseau can if they go into the game with the right strategy. A LOT of talent on this team the just hasn't molded together quite yet. They are scoring a lot of goals this year...but defensivly they need to quit lettin so many go in. Look for these to teams to collide in the section finals. It will be much better than their last meeting. Expect to even see an improvement down in Moorhead in January. By that time Baumgartner should be back too.

I'm sorry, but Roseau does not have a chance to knock off moorhead this year. no matter how their team "molds" together. they just don't have the horses. Roseau can consider it a moral victory if they keep it within 4.
