Re: Games Monday 1-29

CEC lost1-0. If thats true...HUGE UPSET! What happened kniven? Goalie for Forest Lake very steady all night. Very frustrating to watch.....but excellent goaltending can win games. I don’t know if we’ll get a home playoff game now. I can probably agree with Karl's post a little not using East game a...

Rainier and Jeffy neither of you know diddly squat about the Hermantown Community or Hockey program. As a matter of fact, I don’t think you have the slightest idea what the word community even means and that is pretty sad actually. Go ahead and tear me apart now  Many CEC youth hockey players...

Andover and Duluth Marshall handling Centennial and Maple Grove. 7AA is officially out of control! I think it shows too that whoever coached the Cloquet kids in youth hockey with the success they had must have been a pretty good coach. I think Smalls can get it done but maybe reach out and get some...

Hockey hub shows one of the penalty's was "abuse of official". What does that entail? Is that players yelling/ talking back or is that a penalty on the coach? Was anyone at game?

Let's see philosophical Eveleth's or North Shore's of the world even break into the top 20 in A even before you can have that discussion. That is unless your ok with sending a team from the North down for a participation trophy. The 2nd class was created for "the little guy" not the priva...

I didn't watch this game, but having seen both of them against a common opponent, I'm not wildly surprised. Wayzata is certainly deeper, and plays a solid defensive style. They often do some head-scratching things in December (for example, the Blake loss) but outside of that have been pretty solid....

Wayzata and CEC score surprised me a bit. I didn't think Wayzata was that good this year; although maybe it was CEC that didn't play well?

I wasn't at the game this afternoon so I don't know.

So how is Peart still with MN Hockey? Would this type of "findings / agreement" show up on a background check?

What about Peart's other coaching stops with high school teams?

Knivvy, Cloquet is clearly a football school. Congrats. Hockey season will have to wait like in Elk River. Any hockey players playing football? Zero play football from 10-12th grade. Luckily, it’s Cloquet-Esko-Carlton not just Cloquet for hockey. Believe your wrong, I've recognized handful or so ho...

I had heard pretty much the same thing. Doesn't surprise me, Smalley is a talker, an "me" guy who can spin yarn with best of them. Unfortunately it's always been about him and not the kids or the program. I really think the panel made a mistake. Hope kids can adjust, I don't think that onc...
