I have never liked comparing section records when the teams don't play the same amount of games against the same teams. For example STMA only plays Brainerd, Bemidji, and Moorhead once and they play Rogers and Buffalo twice. St Cloud also only plays Moorhead once. On the other hand Roseau plays Moor...

It looks like the Brainerd-St Cloud and STMA-Rogers games are both after the vote if that is the case. If the vote is on the 14th one would hope that these two games wouldn't change the way the coaches would have voted.

When is the vote? There are still a few meaningful section games remaining. Any way that it shakes out I would love to see Moorhead go down in sections.

Not sure you can say every program that opts up is in decline when the defending state champs reside in Grand Rapids. With smaller numbers there is going to be more variability in talent from year to year. However, saying all the programs as a whole are in decline just isn't true in my opinion.

I agree with corner bar that it seems like Bemidji was the one that got screwed. I would've had Bemidji/Roseau 2-3(either order) and stma/Brainerd 4-5(either order).
