Re: Games Friday 12/27/19
It would appear on the surface that EP has more than one team to worry about. EP coaches panicked again, announcers basically saying Steeves played whole 3rd and the OT. This all being said they have a target on their backs and all is well in Eagle land tonight. This team should get it done, no real...

AA is down this year anyone who thinks different is not in his lane! But the beauty of it is anything can happen in a one game knockout. 2010? Not sure on year. Minnetonka plays til 1am to beat Hill and had nothing left in the tank for a gift of a title to everyone’s favorite Hornets 🐝. Play the gam...

Just send part 2 it’s not an affront to this community. Most of us already know. My personal opinion is I’m sorry. Probably more then you got from those coaches! Probably more than your son got....outside of the “envelope”

And then MN hockey hub went and published this article about Eden Prairie. https://www.mnhockeyhub.com/news_article/show/1066357 Making room for three new players meant varsity cuts, which Smith called annually “gut wrenching” and more difficult this year. “We try to be as loyal as we can,” he said...

Re: Final Cuts
Some years back, Ken Pauly kicked a budding superstar off his team because he visited a WHL team and missed a team activity! Baer I believe the kid’s name was. Seems like a principled guy to me. And I’m pretty sure original post is not about BSM.

Re: Minnesota Article on Eden Prairie
Some of these points are pretty spot on. I wouldn’t back the personal attacks. I think it’s a culture at EP as the AD has gotten stud transfers for years. I’m sure it rubs some the wrong way. Not defending these EP coaches, but what coach would be dumb enough, as the rules stand, to not want D1 tal...

Re: Bantams vs. High School
Skates, sticks, pads and ice time are the big ones. Bus and driver. Occasionally if the coach wants to hire an assistant who wants more than what the school will pay that has to be covered. In my experience the state tournament was a big expense to cover hotel rooms, meals, bus and driver and ice t...

Extremely talented 16 year old. Pump the brakes on the top 10 NHL pick, unless he has NHL speed/quickness ala Casey. Which from what it sounds like his game might be closer to with the sense, shot, and finishing ability. Brink has all of these skills also probably a good comparison.

Blasphemy ! Ranheim actually coaches that team anyway and decides who gets no tryout bids to HSEL.

I guess we’ll see how good he is the next couple years when he will only have 2-3 D1 players on each team. Coach em up Curt!
