Re: Class A Tourney w/o top 3 teams

Rainier2, That's the best post I've seen on this forum in a long, long time, that I can tell you. =D> Private’s should have their own private tournament. And by the way, it would be an awesome tournament too. Everybody would have their favorite private instead of hating them all. Benilde and Cretin...

Re: CoVid-19

I am fine, thanks for asking.....I went back to work Thursday. I can not comprehend how much has changed in 15 days. It was nothing more than a mild chest cold for me that lasted 3-4 days. I would not have missed work for it had I not been told to. I am lucky, so are the people I would have seen ha...

Yea. They are now fine. Unknowns for a couple weeks and solitude. The unknown is what scared them and me the most. So much information/media. So much fear. I just hope people can move beyond this. Once we are allowed not to be afraid anymore.

Re: 7AA 2020-2021

Andover is going to rule 7AA again next winter with their depth. No team will have their quality depth top to bottom. It seems Duluth East will be all sophomores and a couple 8th graders with the talent. Rapids won’t be deep and no returning netminder. Elk has numbers and new rink next winter.

True, blue. They would mostly have an opinion, but no concern whatsoever about hermantown hockey and what they do.

I would think that most coaches in the state, AA, could care less what Hermantown does. And that they will keep scheduling them as well.

Re: CoVid-19

We Americans possess a great gift. The gift of choice. Our ability to chose is being taken away, and we are freely giving our ability to chose up because we don’t dare offend the wrong person and lose our money. We are all children now, and we all have the same daddy now. Get used to being told what...

I think it’s great to have ideas. Good or bad, it keeps people on their toes. I wonder if anybody in charge ever even considers a change down the the road or even thinks about different possibilities.

Here’s a question from a Duluth area guy. What public school youth/high school program has fed the Hill hockey dynasty the most over the last 10-20 years? I still hope to be in attendance at one of those Hill vs. WBL matchups one of these days...

I really think Rapids, East, and Andover will be in a slugfest atop 7AA next year. I just wonder who ends up with the better goaltender, defense and team chemistry.

Re: The Hermantown Thread

With Duluth East, Grand Rapids, Andover, and Elky, Hermantown would probably get to state once every 4-5 years and Edina, Minnetonka, Hill, and all the stacked AA bluebloods waiting for them. The road just to get to state expedentially harder than 7A. Plus, the power Twin Cities metro powers are so ...

Re: The Hermantown Thread

Here is the point. Hermantown has climbed to the top of this class A mountain 2 times in 11 years. Have comb one step from the top 8 times. The other times they got very close to the top! What is left to prove on this class A mountain? Nothing! The only proof here is that Hermantown is a 7a problem...

If Hermantown were to move up to AA at the next cycle, would you stop whining and complaining about all the kids moving there to play hockey> I’m not wining.
