Re: Time to panic with Hermantown's slow start?
Don't worry, once the playoffs start they'll get to step back down to a full-time A schedule and sanity will return to the Hawk Dome. There's a method to the "play AA all through youth levels and HS regular season" madness. They're just building up frustration so that they can take it out...

DEast only blemish so far was allowing White Bear to come back and tie it. Coach Randolph has been trying different combinations like always. Tonight being a big section contest will he just put the hammer down and give notice to section 7 opponents and establish QRF dominance? Sorry to say, but ye...

Hermantown has never allowed Freshmen to try out for Varsity. Their Bantam team is now top 10 in AA. Pierce and the Antcliff kid from Proctor are their top two players. Not true. Both Drew and Brian Leblanc played varsity as freshmen as well as Jared Kolquist. We're they bantam-eligible as freshmen?

Re: Time to panic with Hermantown's slow start?
The Hawks have already lost 3 games this year. Offense is scoring but the defense looks a little suspect(judging by the scores). Is this just early season jitters or is this a warning sign that perhaps the Hawks dominace has left them and a gradual decline is beginning? Don't worry, once the playof...

Greenway 8 Virginia 2 from what I hear? The Finn was pretty solid again also? If The Hub is accurate, the score was 8-2, with Greenway outshooting Virginia 45-17. Of course 35 minutes of penalties isn't going to help Virginia beat anyone. Greenway now with convincing victories over GR and V...

I guess we will see how it turns out, but I think a lot of people on this board are underestimating Virginia. Their top line of forwards is as good as any in the area and they have substantially more depth than Greenway does. Virginia will be highly motivated to show the are the top contender to kn...

It will be interesting to see how Greenway plays tomorrow night after their win over Rapids. Will there be that same intensity or a letdown. I don't follow Iron Range hockey as much as most everyone else here, and maybe my memory is failing me again, but wasn't it Greenway that scuttled its hockey ...

Hibbing is going to have a real challenge to get a #4 seed. Lost a ton to graduation and their best player opted to Juniors and their bantam team was not that good. Virginia has the edge on Greenway with their experience and depth. Greenway is young and small. I expect Virginia to edge out Greenway...

Looks like Greenway has a way to go before being a top ten team. Pretty much dominated by Mound in the third period. Their goalie was the #1 Star of the game. He was as good as advertised. He is very quick and always in position. With their best talent being young, I see the Raiders being a signifi...

As much as I'd like to believe all of the preseason hype about Greenway, it's one thing to look good on paper and another thing to look good on the ice. Greenway has some big challenges to crack the top 10 in A. They do have some very talented forwards that will be led by Ben Troumbly and Dante Law...
