Enjoyed reading the preview, but one of the author's picks was outrageous and completely undercuts his credibility. Duluth East over Centennial? C'mon, man! I can buy the East pick. I think Tonka takes care of STMA. That's a negative ghost rider. East will fall ... at least until all the Superior k...

I like the AA or A solution as noted above. Makes sense. Or stronger districts could field AA and A teams depending on size, just don't force them to play eachother. That's completely moronic. What other districts outside of D6 and D10 had large enough numbers to field two well-stocked conferences ...

12 points? Was the coach blind to this? They've played enough Hockey in their young lives were the coach can have the first and second lines sit for two periods. Classless coach. If I am a senior playing the last games of my career I would be absolutely livid if I was benched for two periods becaus...

This isn't about the goalie incident. That's been covered plenty. What really comes out in this thread is how so many of you cannot see beyond hockey. It is obviously the highest priority for many of you. That holier than thou attitude of those who would "never allow" their kid to be a qu...

I think it is laughable that people come on here and think its OK to quit mid season. Excuses are like butt holes and every one has one. Please save the excuses and maybe dig a little deeper and find a way through the adversity. In the real world, people are defined by how they re-act to adversity....

I'd let my kids stop playing anytime they want, so long as they have valid reasoning and are willing to address the entire team, coaching staff, and administration to explain their reasoning. The question is... What is a valid reason? Injury? No, even though you can't play, you still can support yo...

uuuh, no it won't. Only play PW for a year = Two years at Bantam why on Earth would you play three years at squirts?? when you could play with your classmates and play at a higher level at peewees.. Makes no sense Better to play bantams after playing two years peewees instead of three years squirts...

I'm actually surprised the sublimation jerseys fell to number 4. In years past, they always lead with the jerseys.

So this thread has devolved into an argument about the complete absence of Edina players in the NHL and whether Jamie McBain deserves to be in the NHL Hall of Fame yet. But I think the original point, made in the YHH article, is that Edina PWAA's trip to Michigan is -- to some -- an opportunity to ...

Since you don't understand that there is no difference in letter designation for AA/A split during regular season and it is only meant for district play offs, regionals and state tournaments your argument isn't valid. Argument is valid. AA does not equal A, just as last year A did not equal B1. Not...
