I'll give ya that one. And btw, we should be playing LN in the final. We were screwed! 8) What difference would have made, playing them in the first game or the final, Hill Murray never would of made it past Edina anyway. Face it Hill Murray isn't good enough to make it to the final dance this year...

A disappointing first two periods for the Bengals tonight, but give them credit for some good effort in the third. Graham and Middlestadt looked very confident on the big stage. I think the Blaine boys were a little intimidated by the setting, they couldn't get anything going in the first 2 periods...

The kids on the varsity team did have a lot of success when they were peewee's and bantams, but things will change next year, they do not have a lot of talent in the lower ranks this year, there JV team does not have a lot of talent, the BAA team is a mess. The coach will be tested next year. Their ...

I think what is said by check book hockey, is considered a For-Profit type of hockey environment. Your association hockey is suppose to be Non-profit and the money goes to support the association. Check book hockey in my eyes goes right into the pockets of the guys smart enough to con you into think...

The intent of tryouts is for everyone to be evaluated on his/her own merit, correct? Our association went to closed tryouts 6 years ago. I was at the game, in the third period, he looked like he was looking for somewhere to hide. He kept looking up into the crowd like he was wanting someone to take his place. The time has come, the new AD at Blaine needs to make a move, replace the hockey coach.

It appears there were over a hundred kids that got caught cheating on a take home exam. All the kids that got caught are being dismissed from the school for a year. Not saying that is why Max and one of the goalies is leaving for a year, but it looks a little fishy. I wonder how they all got caught,...

Looking for goalies/skaters to play For the Ice Dogs

Ice Dogs will be having a fall boot camp to get skaters and goalies ready for tryouts. If you are looking for a competive program, go to IceDogsmn.org and sign up. We will be putting together all 3 levels of Jr Gold. If we get enough kids we may double up teams at the B level depending on the age an...

What I don't understand is all the complaining about the penalty in the opening seconds of the game. First off it was a bad decision by Brodzinski. Secondly it's not Maple Groves fault that Blaine didn't come prepared to play at the start of the game. Do you think that this was Blaines first 5 minu...

HS coach in the nrothern burbs wants nothing to do with youth program, even though he has brought the varsity to the big dance something like the last 6 years.
