As JBone said, FSN quit showing HS Hockey because they weren't making any money off it. Advertisers didn't step up and pay for commerical airtime during the HS games, so subsequently, they pulled the hockey off. I'm as bummed as anyone, but it's market-driven. it is not hard to raise enough money b...

Re: Wisconsin Fire
What's the latest scoop on the status of all the Fire teams. 98s are dead for "administrative issues with Wisconsin Hockey" as stated in their apology letter (yeah right) - but I what's the deal with the Fire as a whole for now? I heard that ALL teams may be dead because of problems with ...

Re: Dornback is great coach
If you have a chance to be coached by Greg Dornbach don't pass it up! He is one of the best guys and coaches at the youth level hands down. I have seen the work he has done with his teams from Blades to his Edina teams. Skip the Machine and get a compleat hockey experence. Look at the older Blades ...

Then why is the issue still on the table? It seems there are way too many selfish parents worried about who will gain an advantage and who won't. ? Please remember that parents that delayed kindergarten for their child were hoping to gain an advantage for their son. so whos being selfish they didnt...

Not so greatone 99, looks like things are going usual at the brick, and all you can do is blame bernie. You sound like obama when he blames bush. I understand your trying to put a good spin on this since your the prez but stating that the machine would be doing about the same really shows your igno...

Ankles wrote Yeah...Maybe the Blades could loose their ego and learn from teams like Chicago and go as the MN JR. WILD and put a real elite team on the ice...We would put a serious beat down on these elite teams....That might be fun for MN hockey to actually leave with a trophy instead of having to ...

Re: Taken off a team without warning
I hear the buzz of someone's 10 year old being removed from a local "AAA" team without talking to the parents first, to add kids from his area (EP). Now what kind of coach would do that to a 10 year old, and would you want them coaching your kid or representing your "AAA" club? ...
