Well for my statement SLP is a top 5 team in state. We won the silver division beating Blaine and WBL. Took down tonka not once but twice after today's performance by winning the Duluth tournament in a 16 team 4 pools round robin without one of out top players. We put a whooping on lakeville 7-2 th...

Best situation possible:

Birk got his ring, Randy did not.

In keeping with the spirit of D10 philosophy, I think you should line up the first round of games with AA vs A. May as well prepare them for the remainder of the season.

I hope they draw well but Minnesota a tough market for juniors. I think east side at Aldrich would have been a better location to draw hockey fans but that is a guess only. Based on comments of WBL/East Side followers, the new team probably got cheaper ice and a better deal on concession revenue fr...

Why not consider going to the USA Hockey ages? Because Minnesota doesn't use birth year for school admission and we like our players to play with their school classmates. Canada actually does use birth year for school registration. Well not all players are able to play with their school classmates ...

I'm already tired of the Ray Lewis story angle.

Good god ya'll, get the camera off the guy. He fakes more cries than a two-year old begging for a quarter.

Impressive game, AP did everything he could have to get into the endzone on the last play. It would have given him the record and the win.

He is crazy good. B Sanders was my all-time favorite until this year.

I'm not a fan of this change but I don't think the new level is the problem. The scheduling is the problem. The scheduling was a problem because MN Hockey said nothing changes until the playoffs and year end tourneys and that was bad info. I agree, the problem is mandating the AA vs A, not the new ...

A major undertaking is an understatement. it is a lot of work doing 10 levels. However, it is definitely our goal to add these teams to our system by next year. Simply put, the reason we do not is time and money. If the site were to generate some significant revenues we can pay for someone to admin...

Forget all the "A" levels, this is going to end up looking like the state football tourney before we know it. The Edina 7A will be playing the Chaska 6A team at the Eden Praire 4A shoot-out. Ridiculous. Basically the only thing I think changed is in place of associations making multiple ba...

Re: District 10 AA vs A

Stats compiled from district 10 website: Bantam AA record vs A in D10 games - 13-0-1 AA has out scored A 89-15 Pee Wee AA record vs A in D10 games - 16-2-2 AA has out scored A 118-17 The two wins both belong to SLP A team and the same AA association has both of the ties on their record Those involv...

No, Hermantown is small town hockey and everything the class A tournament is ment to be. If anything teams like Totino Grace, Duluth Marshall and St Cloud Cathedral should opt up since they are a private school and "recruit". *ding Guessing the orignal poster gets routinely c-blocked by H...

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned "hot hockey moms" as a trait, this crowd is more mature than I originally thought  To be fair, I just logged on. I am a big proponent of basing decisions on the eye candy. I find the lower the overall talent in the association, the more single hock...
