Well 1/11 isn’t one of the 3 models. The 3 options the HS league gave to start was 12/21 games start 1/4. #2 is 1/4 start with games 1/18 or #3 start 1/18 and games start 2/1. So I’ll take the Jan 4th option..

I think Monday Jan 4th would be the best. Get through the holidays. Give teams 2 full weeks for tryouts and practice. The model shows if the start is 1/4 or 1/18 the season will be 13 or 11 weeks and go till the 1st weekend in April.

They voted 18-0 to start Dec 21st (pending walz extension) and games to start 1/4. If the pause is extended then start dates would be 1/4 or 1/18 with games starting 2 weeks later. Also will be dependent on each separate school district.

I know for a fact that Flake,Andove, and Elk are all only playing conference teams this winter.

I believe Galatz will be full time with the Wilderness, but not set in stone. I agree I would also think many with Jr options will be waiting to see what happens with fall sports. Once we know that the dominos will fall.

I believe WI is having an announcement on HS sports for the fall. Saw on twitter a poll from the ADs almost all voted to move fall sports to spring and spring sports to summer. Hoping to start HS sports with the winter season.

Going to assume a lot of the big name players are waiting to see what happens with schools and falls sports. If any doubt of a regular Hs season will probably leave and head to juniors.

The games at SLP will be streamed all weekend at https://www.mnhockey.tv/st-louis-park-rec-center but you do need to pay. Seems as prices are same as what theyd cost to show up to the game..

I know Duluth East is planning on heading to the Edina Summerfest July 17-18-19. Sounds like Varsity teams will play at St. Louis Park and JV at Edina.

I don’t think they would be drafted in phase II. I believe that is for older kids that haven’t been drafted. Like from lower juniors leagues or juror/senior Hs kids
