None, the kids hustled to the center red and lined up. The score at that time was 9-0. The great part was that the other team scored shortly there after and even at 9-1 they sure let loose. This was the '96 machine team.

What those teams do is absolutely silly. The first time I witnessed it I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Some of the fun of hockey flew out the window.

99% of all goals scored in the NHL,AHL,ECHL,CHL,QMJHL,WHL,OHL,USHL,NAHL,MJHL,WCHA,CCHA,ECHL,CHA,MIAC,ACHA and so on and so forth produce some type of goal celebration, some more intense then others. I have never witnessed any team except for the couple times I have seen the machine or duece just ska...

CLUE LESS

Kids don't do the scheduling there Mr. Limbaugh. Rink managers would be in quite a quandry if nobody scheduled their ice until Nov. or later. What would you suggest? Sometimes it is better to just keep quiet when your information is lacking.

New alignment: add Faribault and Owatonna to Central, only NP is still in the North. Hope it gets finalized soon, games have to be scheduled.

Well here is where we sit right now; Austin and Luverne don't have A Bantam teams (kudos to Waseca for stepping up to the plate), and Lakeville is still in D8. Now where do we go? If I am not mistaken, that is a 6 team central division and that includes a team from Iowa. Please do something!

That could turn into 8 teams pretty easy as I am not sure Waseca or Austin will field A teams when all is said and done.

The way it was told to me is that everyone will participate in the end of the year tourney. It is my guess that there will be some byes for the top seeds and some play in games for the others, and that will give you an 8 team field in Marshall. I hope it all works out well as this inter-league stuff...

I am pretty sure that the coaches are going to seed them, very similar to HS section seeds. It is my guess that the D4 teams are still going to have the home and home series' at the very least, no matter which "league" they are put in. The bright side is that if it is a non-league game, you could pl...

It will only hurt the teams playing weaker competition come playoff time. I don't know if I would be too worried about Austin's perspective as they haven't fielded an A Bantam team in 2 year's and from what I have heard, many 2nd year B Bantam's are going the high school route. I am assuming you are...

Would you be referring to the same Austin that fielded 2 B Bantam teams last year and haven't had an A team in 2 year's?

Buff puck

Nice point Davey. I remember watching Buff in the previous A bantam regional format struggle handily with the D4 teams they faced. Owatonna must really be a stickler in over8td eye's, although it sounds like he might have blanked those games out.

Maybe a new district could be created where Buffalo and Lakeville can just play eachother?

MCF

Did Dave Poile just sign a contract to do "Hockey Night In Canada"? Or was it "Hockey Night In Nashville". That should be quite a hit too. MCF should e-mail his opinions to Mr. Cherry himself!

Dead wrong on the "my Faribault" thing. I am not from Faribault, I am only using them as an example. There seems to be a bit of arrogance on your part, making it out that Lkvle. should somehow be thought of as one of those Metro "powerhouse" associations that are in the top echelon every year. My OP...

Yes, if that is what they choose, go ahead, be independant of Mn Hockey. Don't whine at the end of the year when you can't play in Mn Hockey's State Tourney though. 2 short year's ago Lkvl. No lost not once but twice to a D4 team at the bantam level and I am pretty sure Lkvl. So had a very good game...

New Prague has consistently been toward the top the last few year's and have been fairly competitive with some of the high end Metro teams lately. This year's A bantam team might be a little down from the last couple year's, they have had some move up's. Wouldn't consider Waseca an up and coming tea...

I would bet on Lakeville So. in the Central division, with Faribault being a possibility. Faribault would have been a pretty easy favorite in the old D4 schedule and is my bet for the no. 1 seed come seeding time. Roch. will be the hand's down favorite in the East and the real race will be for 2nd. ...

To give one person credit for these guy's is insane, that is just one part of the puzzle. That being said, this guy run's a very successful business so he must be doing an awful lot of thing's right. Two sides to every story and your's is very valid, good response. Some other '93's to add to that list, Tanner Jordan, kid with last name Labate?, Austin Head, Dillon Stolt, John McDonald (moving to Champlin Park) and Zach Adams.

Just_Hockey, let me clarify what I meant about the team the Omaha kid played on. Let's leave Nick out of it, he is a super kid who plays hockey well. Seeing as this IS a Mn youth hockey forum, I will pimp Mn a little. Your facts about the Omaha tier II team are just that, facts. They obviously did v...

Keep in mind, Michigan only has to look at about 2 team's to get their best, MN with community based hockey has our best player's spread out throughout the whole state. It might take a little time to get these kids, but they definitely are out there. Note to organizer's..... get in contact with bant...
