Re: Early Departures 2019-2020

I would be shocked if Michaelis stayed in Elk River for his senior year.

Re: National Championships

Are these competitions in which MN doesn't typically field its best talent? MN fields a team that represents a youth District. So it is not a State team, it is a regional team within the state. And they still go and compete very well at nationals. If we sent down a team that was selected from acros...

April 1 was official start of Spring season, just mentioning it since you both referenced April 6.

Although most Spring teams have been doing captains practices since early March.

St Francis and Cambridge drop to class A and Anoka moved into 7AA.
Give 7AA just 8 teams.

Bad news - Good players get left behind Good news- Good players previously ignored get a chance The truth- None of this matters The only thing Minnesota hockey needs to apologize for is making families choose spring break over another weekend of hockey There is absolutely no reason they can't start...

What, so we can congratulate Edina on winning both the AA and A High School Tourneys? This already sounds boring.

I don't think the official thread has been started, but you can put Rogers on the list. Much like Shakopee, Rogers could be a good opportunity, and perhaps to an even greater extent. It’s a growing exurb with a good economic base and lots of young families. Nice facilities located literally across ...

Would be surprised to see Michaelis in an Elk jersey next year.
@blueline, what are the young mans options for next season?
Wish him well wherever he ends up.
He's playing with Waterloo in the USHL right now, so that would be the top option.

Time to mute the t.v. Female announcer just said "the referee just threw a penalty flag!" Sorry lady you are announcing hockey not football. Her counterpart is blah blah blah I know. I tried to give her an honest chance, but it's hard to listen to a play-by-play person that obviously does...

The woman announcer is too slow. And I don't give a dang about FRIENDS. Parrish is okay. I really, really wanted her to do well, it's a pretty cool opportunity she's been given. Unfortunately she seemed overwhelmed at the start of the game, almost like she completely mind blanked on any player name...

As long as we continue to leave team declarations up to individual associations we will continue to have this kind of...

These were the final scores of the South Peewee B region..... 6-2 11-1 25-0 13-0 Fix this. Either some standard to classify teams or get rid of B state tournaments. The south had the worst of the lop-sided games. Others seemed to be metro vs out state or with the large out-state vs rural programs. ...
