VFW D1
District 1 tourney this year includes Roch. Red and Black, Northfield, Red Wing and Albert Lea. You could bet the house plus 5 more on Roch. Red in this one.

Hey Lakeville guy, did you also send your childish thoughts to Mn Hockey or are you content here talking smack to a bunch of 8th and 9th graders? It is what it is and when the day is done, it probably shouldn't affect anyones physical or mental health.

If the Park kids did nothing, why are 3 of them sitting out the entire regional tourney?

D4 #2 Albert Lea
D5 #2 River Lakes
D5 #3 Crow River
Blue Division
D4 #1 Faribault
D1 #2 Highland
D5 #1 Mound
Mankato/Johnson winner

Actually the 1 seed in D4, (Albert Lea) had a 10-3-1 record, identical to Owatonna and Mankato. In head to head league play, Albert Lea beat Mankato and split with Owatonna with a better goal differential. Throw silly FPP out and AL still gets the 1 seed. Come districts, none of this matters, there ...

Play4fun, then talk to your children and do it instead of trolling here for debates. You can come on here in a couple years and tell everybody with young children and no perspective your experiences.

If you meant switching goalies from team to team to create a more level playing field, good move.

NightTrain, The District 3 website shows Minneapolis Park as a District 3 A Bantam team also. So which is it?

I was able to watch both teams play on back to back nights. What I saw: Virginia appeared to have more depth and rolled their lines pretty efficiently. Hibbing had the best player , #20, but lacked depth. I don't want to take anything away from some of Virginia's individual efforts as they have some...

A or B
In the districts with smaller associations, here is the problem; some teams field just B teams then end up dominating district play with other true B teams, (teams that have an A team above them). What sucks for the true B teams is at the end of the year if they don't make districts. I would like to...

state record
The MSHSL website has the record for most stops in 1 regulation game as 74 saves; Brady Hjelle of Int. Falls against CEC in 2006. If Aaron had more saves than that, it would be a record.

record?
Dooley's 76 saves on 83 shots against Faribault should be a MSHSL record if their records are up to date. Someone from Austin should look into that.

Since sarcasm rulees, here's one. nmnhockeydad, my advise to you is to not worry about where you move, just hold off on that birthing until AFTER the New Year. This way your child will be one of the oldest on his off season AAA team! Come on, that shouldn't be so hard! Very true about the pool and p...

Willett is not the "Director of Hockey Operations" and I did not intend to "dis" him. He seems like a very capable hockey guy and I hope he does well. Look into this D.oH.O. guy and you might see what I am saying. After meeting Paul and his assistant, I was a bit more optimistic ...

Looking more like the Western Chicago Tier 3 NAHL Thunder. I hope the coaching staff can pull this team out from under the wings of a ridiculously inept "Director of Hockey Operations".

I just compared notes on the Advanced 15 rosters and the USHL '93 list. Seems to be a noticeable discrepancy between the 2, any thoughts?

If that is true, how could that possibly happen? These '93's have been in youth hockey for a long time, by now, everybody knows the coaching certificate criterea. Somebody with some insight let me know. Was this a case of a serious lack of integrity? Any team that has played them or any tournament t...

I saw their bantam team in regionals and they had a kid (#17) that looked well beyond his years. I thought he would have been one of the better players on any of the D6 teams.
