2112- Yes I feel that playing D-1 hockey is a VERY high level of hockey. And a great acomplishment by Charlie. I think UMD just had the Hoby winner. I would think he was a somewhat developed hockey player. Maybe You feel a kid needs to be an NHL Allstar to be considered developed. And thats cool di...

Re: Walmart 3 v 3 Tournament July 14/15
Anyone have their kids play this tournament in the past? Likes? Dislikes? Anyone doing it this year? Looks like a fun weekend. http://www.nscsports.org/page/show/483878-walmart-hockey-cup-3v3-tournament really a blast. This will be my son's third year participating. The amount of enjoyment the team...

I've got no problem pointing fingers at any adult acting this way. Coaches and refs included. I do think we are all responsible for our own behavior, and a bad referee or coach is no excuse for ones own child like behavior. I've seen a referee ruin a good hockey game, but never seen one ruin a life...

Seems to be almost all Blades/Machine? How do the anti Blades/Machine crowd feel about that? these are '97's yet correct? the '98's should / could be the first year you start to see more parity in the "colors" represented. Lots of very talented '98's out there not on the big 2. '99's on down there ...

On a side note: I think the '99 class will be one of the better ones our state will produce. 2000's by a long shot. So deep, so much talent from all over the metro. Including a possibility of 3-4 "phenom"-type players at that level. And another with a 2000 son... goodness people ... I even italiciz...

The AA/A model just reinforces that Edina/Maple Grove etc. are the best and will always win. A truly balanced system would open championship hopes to many more associations and maintain the top level of play we have today. This hits the nail on the head. Which Bo summarizes here. Just think of the ...

No, the level the Cisar's played did NOT hurt their development. They are able to compete with the best HS players in the State. Yet their TEAM can't because the talent level of the entire team is not equal to the Cisar's. And their teammates did not magically get better playing with the Cisar's. I...

As I've stated...this new system helps the Big 9 (Edina, Wayzata, OMG, Stillwater, Moorhead, Rochester, Woodbury, White Bear, and Minnetonka). Their 16-30 players now get a chance to wear an A sweater instead of B1. It also will reduce the number of blow outs in the Regional tournaments and in theo...

Bold move? I did a quick look up for the PW A's - around 105, Sqt's are near the same? out of those 105 A teams, around 61 had 3 teams or less around 79 had 4 teams or less Edina had 9 PW teams, 12 Sqt teams I would say IF 79 out of 105 having 4 teams or less and putting out an A team that would be...
