Re: Thoughts on Duluth East?
Some "experts" have been saying DE could possibly have a perfect season and a win the state title with ease this year. Is this true, or is it all hype? What do you think about DE's chances this year? They do well in the season, probably losing to a couple of cities teams including Maple G...

You can't move in with the aunt and uncle. Rules specifically state that you can't change guardianship for the purpose of establishing residency. If parents are divorced you have to have joint custody and the move can occur only once between 9-12 grade to be eligible for varsity (and the new address...

Seems like a no brainer. parker is ranked in the top 5 at nationals this week. fyi:the Minnesota boys are doing well at 16 nationals. voltin and labosky top 10 in scoring might want to check your stats again. And there are lots of interpretations that can be made from them - good and bad (as with a...

So what if he moves and gets 6 games? Did the coach commit to him already? Then he gets six games. That's the chance you take particularly on a team like that. He is very good and word is a nice kid as well. I wouldn't say it will be a cake walk (no pun intended) for him. Will be interesting to see...

What year is he ??? Thanks !!! Oops, sorry, misread your first question. I don't know but I bet dlhhockey does. Lee Parker will be a junior, Jamar will be a senior, Skoog will be a senior, Vizenko will be a junior and there are three other at the camp that will be sophomore. I'm sure they will take...

Skoog is coming to Duluth East. He starts the Summer camp tonight. His dad got a job here (not just moving for the hockey, imagine that)old goalie85 wrote:Forest Lake should be set w/Skoog coming back after good Jr year.
DE goalie situation should be very competitive with the top three, looking forward to that.

I was rooting for Duluth, but what effort on the part of Rau. Three overtimes deep diving for loose pucks after getting hammered the whole game. And ironically, the Duluth player who did the pounding on Rau whiffed on a chance to clear the puck just before Rau pushed it in. And he's a heck of a D f...

Anyone see what happened to Hunter??? He separated his shoulder a few weeks ago. Missed a couple of games and then came back during sectionals (taped up). Must have taken a good hit tonight. Sounds like Campion is doing well in his place. He was an occasional fourth line forward that has played D i...

Wow both teams look good, and quick. Has it been like this the whole game?? DE started slow but got their forecheck going late in the first. Since then, they have been the better team. Hopefully that will show up on the scoreboard! Second line does it again!! Sophomore Alex Toscano- starts the seas...

Mule- He is 12-1 in Section Final games. The only loss coming in 2002. East has also never had a losing seaon under Randolph.... The question is what has happened once out of the section (you can't say last night was a great game for DE, but they got it done in end - the very end and I wouldn't giv...

I hate to say it but DE is going to be one and done. When you have top players saying they didn't know how to react to the the strong GR defense for two entire periods and Randolph keeping the 1st line out for almost 5 minutes (his quote in the paper was they were out there, why not another two min...

Dylan Parker at Duluth East. 94-95% save percentage and 1 GAA. Was an alternate for Nationals for Advanced 15 last year. Have seen him play a few games this year and seems pretty solid. Big shoes to fill to replace jeanetta next year but should do well for East. A bit overrated. He's 88 percent wit...

East up 5-0 after 2, and supposedly hit 3 pipes in the final minute of the period. (This is from the Hub person.) Shots 29-9. Only 1 goal from a 1st-line forward. I've been griping about the overreliance on the first line lately, so this is a great sign in that regard. Terrific game. Scoring from a...

Duluth east is not a very talented team. They are very fundamentally sound and that is thanks to their coach. They don't have that outstanding player like most top ten teams like cameranesi, rau, letierri, fogarty, bahe, or even daly or besse from bsm. Randolph is good but he is not one of those pl...

I'm guessing a 6 hour practice might be against the rules, so your source may be embellishing just a bit. including weight training. Normal one hour weights from 5:45p - 6:45p and 1 1/2 hour normal practice time though no pucks the whole time. It took the Zamboni twenty minutes or so to scrape, swe...
