I do not think that a new league is going to go to Edina and try that. It is too easy for Edina and MN Hockey to shut that one down. The only way that a new group can come in is for them to have a place to call home and to work out of. That is not Edina,..... Have you heard of the Choice league tha...

I wonder how many hours are being chewed up at 10:00 pm in Siren, Wi. Driving to Siren, WI for 10pm ice...

Coach, Here is an interesting link for you to explore. It is important to understand whats going on in the rest of the world... http://hockeymichigan.org/index.php And that is what is headed for MN. Sure, several of the entrenched old timers are saying it isn't but it is. Back in the day you could ...

Hey Spin, I'm just trying to find answers. - My question was if being in a small pond helped. - They are very dominating youth associations. Moorhead has four this year and plenty former players - His brother had 1 point... I was showing the drop. The numbers for those type of MEGA programs are ver...

I agree! Interesting in that I know a player that wants to take the same position and is planning on playing High School next winter and play on his associations Junior Gold team. We'll how well that goes. Most of the JG practices and games are after HS stuff. Like the dad said - Bernie is laying t...

This is the very reason why WINTER AAA hockey needs to be prevented at all costs. The model is severely flawed. No, this is the reason that winter AAA hockey needs to happen in a controlled way. The setup now with an Invite and Open label needs to be expanded to include a Rec level and teams need t...

What about the phenom kid in Pine City, MN that wants to stay going to school with his friends? Could he live out his Hockey goals and still be with his friends if he had a tier1 option at the NSC? Just curious, what makes you think the NSC tier 1 team will have a spot for the Pine City kid? How ma...

offer any thing like USA AAA Midget Two kids from Michigan were drafted. 15 from Minnesota. I found that almost impossible with all the AAA Tier 1 clubs in Michigan. I mean really, I just don't even get it. From my perspective, for all the time and money spent in these two states, their system has ...

Re: The ADM Question
Yes you are correct. 35 is probably too low.. Read the HPC training regimen for Bantams and let me know how you think that will fit.. There are actually teams that are playing 75 or more games at the youth level if you count scrimmages etc. The point is .. it all goes away at 15 years of age. Am I ...

Re: The ADM Question
The rub is that the ADM at the HPC level, the last year of peewee in Minnesota and Bantam minor in the rest of the world, calls for a year around schedule with way more total on ice hours and games than the 35 or so that Minnesota hockey deems adequate. My opinion is that Minnesota hockey can solve...

It doesn't have to be 1-30. If Minnetonka can have 13 skaters at the A level, why can't Edina have 24-26 on 2 A teams? This will have a big effect on the B team dominance. What will Edina do for Fargo? Which team do you send? Do you send both? Do you get an exception and send a community all-star te...
