This program is going to fail. They should have put money in a place like rochester and maybe had a solid program.

Shame, another failed jr team in Minnesota...it's a shame.

Incorrect info all over. The MNJHL put almost double the players into NCAA schools this past season. The NA3HL is claiming to be a farm system to the NAHL. As of right now I know of only 3 players from the "Minnesota Divison" of the NA3HL who made rosters. $5,800- $7,500 for the NA3HL $4,5...

Why bother? I would rather try a REAL team like the Rochester Ice Hawks, Granite City Lumberjacks or even the TC Northern Lights(down on the list)? Spots are always open for players to take a look, and why not try a "REAL" team first.

Really? Daddy owns the team, thats the reason he's the coach?   Not the 400 wins in 9.5 seasons of coaching(55-60 game seasons)? Even the WORST coach with the best players wouldn't get that many reasons. Looks like quite a few people with some pull in hockey also think he's a pretty ...

Just want to remind you of this posting about how good the light were. If the Ice Hawks lose their last 17, thats right 0-17. And the Lights win the rest of their games. The Ice Hawks will still finish ahead of the Lights. When will people learn, Rochester is a NAHL Program playing in the MJH...

Well 12 games into the season I think you see why the Rochester kids didn't make the team.

They might have been talented enough but they were not the right fit for the team the Hawks were putting together.

Anyway Rochester is a blast to watch! GO HAWKS!

All true..time will tell

Right now the Lights are 6-6-0-1 for 13 points in 13 games.
The Ice Hawks are 9-1-0-0 in 10 games for 18 points.

First of eight vs fifth(2 points ahead of 6th place team with 4 more games played) of eight.

How would you rate them right next to eachother?

OMG you really need to get a grip if you think these teams are that close. They play 7 times this season. If the Lights win 3 of the 7 I will admit you are right. If the Lights finish less then 15 pts behind the Hawks I will admit you are right. Hawks won 5-1 shots were 17-40 Hawks Lights won 6-4 sh...

The Hawks OUT PLAYED THE LIGHTS for all but maybe, maybe 10 mins. The lights shots were soft from the outside and most of them were not legit scoring opps. I got a chance to watch the 'no goal' at Beetles Bar and Grill, where Coach does a meet a greet along with some film of the past weeks games. Th...

How did they react? 6-3 ripping of the Lights. The Lights are good but very dirty and they chirp A TON. I bet they lead the league in PIM's and lost fights this year! Lumberjacks, Aces and Hawks are the top 3. Lights are 4 Lakers and Owls Hudson Mildcats are bad...they may not win a game this year.....

Awww...they will be missed...kind of. They have broken every rule in the book and been a thorn in the side of the league and a black eye to boot. They will fit nicely with the SIJHL, gongshow hockey with no real direction. Lots of talk about new MJHL team coming in but is there really a need for mor...

This is not really worth the debate, EVERYONE who knows hockey will tell you this. The Ice Hawks move more players onto colleg...

Rochester's room is the old USHL room. NOTHING IN SPOONER IS NICE...except the weightroom, other than that you are better off playing hocky on Rice Lake than in in that place. Rinks in the MJHL are up and down. Rochester is a great Jr rink and it gets loud during games. Seem to own the arena, very n...

   That didn't happen in Albert Lea, Kenai, ect. If the NAHL was smart they would find a way to get the Ice Hawks in. In the end the Ice Hawks are bulit around the kids and their development not a owner looking to make a buck, it just so happens that Rochester got it right and now the...

Check the time I posted that, BEFORE the Mustangs game. Pull you head out of the place you ASS umed I was finding the statistics. Sometimes it's not about the money...it's about the kids...odd thought.

Fresno's T-3 team next year will average just under 200 fans a game. The NAHL team will take the rest. Plus if you do some research on the attendance of the Monsters it's not 2000 a game, they had a promotion the other day and had 5000 or something crazy like that but it was a promotion and not the ...

5 of the last 6 Regular season titles.
Last 5 playoff titles.
6 years in a row off to Nationals.

Most fans in the country for the level(would be the most in the division in the NAHL). All in all great program! GREAT JOB GUYS!

[/quote]It actually plays to teams like Hudson's advantage because they are a team more set on developing skill than just systems and winning. What does that mean? The past two seasons I've watched Hudson get worse over the season, not better. Maybe teaching kids how to use the skills they have migh...
