Congrats Hermantown Hawks on a superb season, and on winning the minnesota state boys class A championship game. You totally deserve it, and I must say that this group has proven that they are an extremely talented team. Undefeated regular season and they carry that through to the state championship...

Not necessarily. Both teams played very well but the refs decided this one today. 2 very bad calls related to goals. Congrats to Hermantown but it is still a tainted victory. Agreed, even as a Hermantown fan, I hate to see a game like this decided around controversy. It just sucks. I have a great d...

Fast fact, Hermantown has not beaten Duluth Marshall since the regular season in 2004 at Mars Lakeview Arena, 5-4 in OT. Both teams deserve to be where they are. Look for a close hard faught matchup to ensue. The only thing either of these teams have going for them is that they have played each othe...

I think this will be a final to remember, look for a very close game between these two highly respected northern teams...

Grand Rapids 4 Final (2OT)
Roseau 3

This should be a great game, could truly go either way! Goodluck to both teams!

Take the seed and flush them didnt prove a thing. Agree, however, it proved the coaches didn't have much faith in GR or section 7AA in general. How sad, when will they ever learn... I mean how can the team who wins section 7AA not be a top 4 seed. Thats a crime in my eyes, Cloquet, DE, ER, GR! Plea...

At first I thought the seeding of the top 4 was ridiculous. After today, I think it is alright. Two of the top teams lost. This made all of the games more competitive and a bit closer. I'm not much for blowouts and none of the quarter-final games were, at least not until late in the game. Correctio...

Well, I have seen both these two teams play and I was not impressed with the goaltending from either team. Tough choice, it could truly go either way. I go with DM over STA 5-3 (EN) Should be a fun game to watch overall. Goodluck to both teams 8) :!:

Yesterday every team that was supposed to win won and today practically the opposite has happened. Yesterday i thought that the seeding was just going to make the first games less interesting to make the final more competitive. Today, i am loving the upsets. I dont think the seeding is really chang...

Let go :-k Hermantown 5 (en) Warroad 3 Just look to spread out the opponents better and there transitions give them the ice position to not tire as fast. Did like Warroad’s goalie in the AL game. I think you have it dead on stealth, this will be a close game. However, look for hermantown to play co...

It was a great game to watch. I think LF finally earned the respect they deserve. That said, I think they definitely need to schedule some tougher teams to play. When you coast through just about every third period of every game with a huge lead, you don't learn how to finish tough games. It was ob...

I know they lost to Morris/Benson 9-7 and Brainerd 5-4. Not sure who the other loss was.
Virginia 7-3, I believe it was the first game of the season.

easily the most evenly matched q-finals, i'm gonna have to go North 3-2. They've shut down, East and Cloquet in the same week, they can do it again Possibly the state championship here, winner will go to the finals (not nessicarily win, but go nevertheless), loser will win the consolation champ.
