Tartan our shot mahtomedi and lost 6-2?? Goaltending has always been an issue for tartan Tartan looked like they were gonna run away with this one in the first period. Then a couple of goals and Tartan folded up its tent. For a team that after last season was supposed to have returning goaltending ...

Hill has troubles with Tartan. Tartan probably has a better record against Hill than most. With that being said Hill has them all beat when it comes to coaching. Hill 1 Stillwater 2 Tartan 3

St Thomas won 5-1 and 2-0 last year and lost only a couple players, none of whom were huge contributors to the success of the team. Does Tartan have some amazing freshmen, or what happened? LOL just one and lots of seniors. Those amazing players scored 5 but don't play a bit of defense though..8 go...

I thought it looked like Tartan got out coached, and their goaltender didn't have a good night. Tartans power play, i think 3 short handed goals is pretty unreasonable. St Thomas has the right players on the ice at the right time.

That sends a pretty good signal out to the rest of the SEC, eh??
I saw another site that said 42 saves on 46 shots. Idk they didnt have shots on the scoreboard. Still a lotta rubber to stop.

Penaltys and Power play killed Tartan. When I say poer play I mean their own. They gave up two shorthanded goals. Woodbury vs Tonka for the Finals. Toppers and Tartan for the 3rd place honors. Tartan played like its an early season game, Woodbury looked to have midseason form already.

Haha next years group of players at WBL is historically not very good. WBL and Tartan, poor coaching and master choke artists.

1.WBL 2.Tartan 3.Hill 4.Roseville 5.Stillwater thats what your going to see. sunday morning Some people can't accept change. If the good old boy network lives in 4AA, Tartan will not be number 1. If the team who's record is most deserving wins...then ladies and gentlemen Tartan is number 1. Don't c...

Things appear to be taking shape for the top 5 teams. After last night's games I believe Stillwater is locked in at 5, Roseville 4, and WB 3. Conventional wisdom will place HM 2 & Tartan 1 based solely on their head-head games. If HM beats Moohead (#1 seeded team) on Sat., will that be enough t...

Pioneers you are right about Tartan's starting goaile being injured. I don't believe that he is playing in tonights game. He injured his groin in the Mathomedi game Monday I believe. With him being out Tartan has to rely on their back up who is pretty bad.... Pretty bad??? 40 saves on 42 shots. yea...

We (Tartan) did not play to our full potential. About half way through the second period our top goalie, Alex Gierke, pulled something in his leg and most likely needs an MRI to see whats wrong. He could be fine in a few days or be out for a few weeks, we dont know. We play them again this Saturday...

just to throw this out there, Steve moore was attacked by Todd Bertuzzi because Crawford told his players to hunt him down for cheap shotting Marcus Naslund the night before. I will admit it was a huge cheap shot though. Hockey is a rough sport and there were some obvious shots in the North/Tartan ...

Go play chess pucknutz and get off the board as you agreed. I saw it like the refs did yes intentional (and not smart) but not to harm - or else they would have called a DQ. You've never played hockey or else you would understand that many penalties are done out of anger and retaliation- much like ...
