Re: 2020 Section Tournament Scores Thread
It's "all about me", that's why. 100% accurate. I can't tell you how many mites in our association are playing at MN Made. Mites. To be fair, Mites is the best (and probably only good) time to do MN Made. I can understand that to an extent. A handful are skating both. The ones that are there full t...

Re: 2020 Section Tournament Scores Thread
For Prior Lake the next two years are probably their years. They will have their chance. For Rosemount.......this was their year. As an outstate guy.....I’ll never understand why twin cities kids look around and go “hey......we have a really good group here! I’m going to go play somewhere else.”. E...

Re: 7AA 2019-2020
I believe Andover is going to reload with decent jv and bantam players coming in, its most likely a very bold statement on Elk River. As for Grand Rapids I took the time to reflect and Grand Rapids has had two awful teams the last few years it made me think a decent team was way better then it real...

Re: Section 8AA section projections
Well interesting section for sure. Roseau squeaks by Brainerd and St. Cloud took it to Rogers. Moorhead with a nail-biter in Bemidji. Should be an interesting couple of games on Saturday.

Re: AA scoring leaders through Feb 1
Overall strength of schedule can be pretty misleading when it comes to point production. Two teams could have fairly similar overall SoS.....but if one of them has 5 games on their schedule where a top player has the potential to pile up 25-30 points in those 5 games and the other team doesn’t have...

Re: AA scoring leaders through Feb 1
I was referring to the AA race and AA players not catching Gleason since that’s the title of the thread. Biondi plays in Class A and plays a class A schedule. According to PageStat....the SOS (as of 2/1) regardless of A or AA designation...CDH and Hermantown are 33 and 35 respectively....not signif...

Great Question "Fat Cat" on the Ellings kid. To my understanding the twin sister is still at Providence, and the family lives in Bloomington. How is the Busby kid eligible at Eden Prairie after playing in Colorado last year? Not sure on Ellings but Busby has been all over the place chasing somethin...

Good point edgeless2, none in the right mind would turn away top talent. I agree on the third and fourth line guys, some of those guys are the stud athlete baseball player or football player that just wanted to contribute a role on the hockey team and hang with guys they have been with for a very l...

No doubt. Highly unlikely any of these people have ever met or conversed with any of the coaches or parents involved in the discussion. Such is the way of the social justice warrior these days.O-townClown wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 8:39 pmIt's sad that the comments on this thread are posted by adults.

Dude made the all-tournament team in 91-92 for Cloquet. https://rrr.hockey/tournament/1992/Boys/Tier1 That is NOT the goalie that transferred to East. Also, that goalie that made the all-tourney team graduated, and could not have been in contention for the starting goalie spot the year JP transferr...

I am curious. Has Duluth East ever had a transfer from Cloquet? Within my memory, there was one, sort of. It was quite the saga. A kid named Garrett Bates played his sophomore year at East, transferred to Cloquet for his junior year (this was the year Randolph was relieved of his duties at East), a...

That 3/4 flip of STa and East is critical Makes difference between East being in Edina semi bracket Vs being in Tonka semi bracket East is the most feared team in semis by both Edina and Tonka , even though STa played Tonka close twice . Hounds have a net winning record in the state tournament agai...

I don't know why but I honestly think that Duluth East is not gonna come out of this section.. While it looks cool how smooth they are, when it comes to finishing the puck, playing the body, and point presence in the offensive zone they are far from a state bound team. I watched their loss against ...

If you’re going between Braemar and BIG after the first game at Braemar, you better get out of the parking lot right away or you’ll be cutting it close for the 3pm game at BIG. It will take at least 20-30 minutes to get through the BIG ticket line unless they improved the process this year. Last ye...
