Re: 2021-22 Coaching Openings

So let me get this straight. LS is a public school? I thought it was just those nasty private schools that recruit? Sorry folks been happening forever all over the place. No team is dirtier then the other. Just your school doesn't do it and the one down the street does.

Yes how do the CO-ops work?
Richfield and Southwest Christian make up is 1309. Over the cutoff...
How many other Co-ops are at this cutoff?

Re: New Section alignments for a three class state play-off

How about take the liberal way out and just issue a trophy to everyone? I am sure there can be names associated with them.
There should also be a tournament just for the teams in the cities with the first ring suburbs included.
Keep it the way it is, working fine....

I am by no means a fan of Edina, but I say this almost every year. Never count them out, they are showing once again why they are a strong program.

Re: 3 Privates & EP walk into a pub

As a private school guy and supporter, I am not liking this at all. Two schools I never have like could very well be playing for the championship. But I am pretty confident that EP will prevail and Hill Murray will also, so we will have a nice final. NO STA or BLAKE for me.....

Every year we hear about one of these wonderful people passing away. Someone who goes to all the games, helps out wherever they can and all the kids respect and cherish them at their arenas. This story is sad because of the collision, RIP wonderful fan, you will be missed but not forgotten>

Wow 6AA has 5 teams in the top 15, won’t that section be fun to watch. Also, since I am a homer, don’t count out Holy Angels lost to BSM and Blake, in the playoffs you never know.....but right now those 5 teams make for a real good semi-final.

Re: 2019-2020 Coaching Changes List

Here is what I have for the AHA vs Osseo game. AHA came out playing real well went up 5 - 0. Then something clicked and Osseo came storming back and in the third were up 6 - 5. Third period was a battle, lots of penalties. I had to go make ice on the other rink and AHA was up 8 - 6 with a couple to ...

I just got the word he may not be done also. More to come. As far as four freshman recruited. Do you know that a lot of Freshman at all privare schools are recruited? that is how their student body is made up. Besides if this is true and someone was cut, maybe just maybe they were not good enough to...

AHA vs Andover. Scores don’t matter they are scrimmages. Andover definitely took it to the Stars, a bit quicker and hit harder. Stars did not get a lot of shots but I like the way they have improved in the last couple of years. Still need some work but hey playing against top teams helps. Next up th...

The NAHL is exciting and fast paced. Austin is probably the best team, then toss up for the Magicians and the Wilderness. Don't know much about the other. I suggest going and watching because it is good. Stop by Richfield on a Saturday night game and I am on the Zamboni.

Sad day when I heard on Wednesday, I have a lot of memories of Greg. Too many to list and too many to try and pick as the best one. Pete Waggoner's article sums it up. All those players mentioning how he spoke to you and not yelled is the way to coach. All the practices I watched I hardly saw him sk...

Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season

Biggest clue of this being true was Blueblood saying it wasn’t his hometown team, and then went suddenly quiet on this thread when, according to Westy’s timeline, he direct messaged the person whose hometown team the kid was on. Or it’s just a coincidence! Where do you think Blueblood's hometown is...

Doug McClown will ruin the experience. I am so glad I will be there in persons so I do not have to listen to his boring cliche's and poor play calling.

Re: AA Rankings for 2/17/19 and Section Preview

Just a thought, why not wait till we have teams in the state tournament first. There will be upsets and I am looking at a possible number one going down. Maybe two... So lets wait a week or so then lay the lineup for state.
