Here are three third period worthless, fuzzy, barely viewable videos I took with my PDA/phone from the game today.

Eh, whatever.

As usual, nobody actually plays a good game against AHA... they just had an "off night" due to circumstances beyond their control (somebody's hurt, they had an away game the night before, the team chef put too much paprika in the pre-game goulash, etc.). God forbid somebody actually plays...

I haven't seen CR this season, but I did see the Stars against MG earlier in the season, and they were surprisingly ok. Played the Crimson tough.

Based on that, and CR's record, I'll give North Metro the advantage here. My best uneducated guess? NM 5-3

Because Wayzata has lost to Anoka by 1, Roseville by 1, CDH by 1, AHA by 1, and BSM by 2, I have to think this is trend and not mirage...

Moorhead 3-2.

Keeping in mind that the Stars played an away game the night before also and regardless of the score still won. As usual, nobody actually plays a good game against AHA... they just had an "off night" due to circumstances beyond their control (somebody's hurt, they had an away game the nig...

Moorhead/Wayzata

Keeping in mind that less than a week ago, Wayzata nearly pulled off an upset against AHA, losing only 2-1 at home, what will be the outcome of the Moorhead/Wayzata matchup this Saturday at the Plymouth Ice Center?

For Holdin The Stick's sake, I hope he isn't one of the 50%... outside of this board, his name might have an "iffy" connotation.

Once again I can see that the Irishmans Shanty will not be portrayed in the print. Nor will there be any reference to the school for which I played. Well, maybe next time. That's a tough break. On the plus side, every one of these will have my school represented since he and I went to the same plac...

State Tourney Program '07

Here's a link to Terrence Fogarty working on his art for the 2007 State Tournament... once again, it looks like he's captured the greatness of Minnesota hockey. I could care less about art, but the work he does always seems to hit home...

Re: Tough Schedule vs. Easy Schedule

A lot has been said about teams that choose to stay local for the most part and play a "weaker" schedule, then to travel around the state in search of the best competition. Just wondering what everybody thinks. Last year Duluth East traveled a lot to play the best teams in the state to be...

govs, honestly, boreger played pretty good. 18 shots 1 goal. i know you can just look at stats. but he made 2 breakaway saves, and stopped 2 point blank shots! plus saying wayzata could have won 4-2 is also dumb. yes they couldve but they didnt. aha could have won 7-1 if howe wouldnt have robbed th...

Honestly we are not the coaches.... I do not think that he was shaky, maybe a little off his game. He did drop the puck from his glove too many times and that is how they scored. But he stopped a few break aways and some odd man rushes. AHA was also not passing as well as they normally do, but Wayz...

Tonight was also the first time I've seen AHA in person (saw them on CCS during the Schwan Cup), and you guys aren't kidding about their first line... it's unbelievable. Taylor Matson spent his entire night blowing past the Wayzata D like they were standing still, and he snaps his passes around - I ...

I live in the Wayzata district, but tonight was the first time I've seen them... Somebody more familiar with the program has to explain that kid to me... The goalie is Joe Howe, and he's a sophopmore captain ... sophomore captain. And he had some great saves tonight. He looks big, confident, and con...

Holy Angels will win it, but I don't see the rout like Bob evidently does! :D Wayzata plays one of the tougher schedules in the Metro - including 1 (AHA), 2 (Moorhead), and 3 (Roseville) in the current PS2 Ratings. They've also played CDH, BSM, and Anoka... Granted, they've lost them all :P , but th...

Anybody getting excited about Woodbury pounding NSP yesterday should probably calm down... NSP is about 2 steps behind every other team in this tourney - and that includes Johnson and Kennedy which are nothing special. I would be willing to bet NSP loses the 7th place game to Kennedy by 3 goals. Woo...

Can somebody please explain the fascination with Tartan on this board to me? I mean honestly... They make 2 tourney appearances by winning a mediocre section, and once they get there, the win a total of 1 game. This team has done nothing of any substance, and they'll likely get to the section finals...

CrystalClearSports.net

Well, I see that CrystalClearSports.net is 2 games into the football season, and they've picked right up where they left off last hockey/basketball season... technical problems. Supposedly the Minnetonka/Wayzata game was supposed to be streaming at 7:00, but instead, at 8:47 it says: "Technical...
