TOmass: So you are of the "school" that Brian would have made the NHL conitinuing to play Junior Gold in Eden Prairie. The word was that he was not going to get an opportunity to play Varsity at Eden Prairie. Let's see............he went on to a good college to get an education and play ho...

High school transfer

Yes, it should be a high school thread but MN High School League is making these players decide before high school in 8th grade (while in youth hockey). Jamie Sherwood (Wayzata) headed the committee on these restictions for student/athletes. I realize it is not this simple, but it certainly gives th...

NHL for Brian Bochenski under current tranfer HS rules??

Star and Tribune said he transferred as a junior to Benilde. Are we limiting player's development options in MN due to these new rules? My guess is this transfer was critical to Brian's success. At the very least, we seem to be limiting opportunity for our MN boys which are being cut by their high s...

rematch-bragging rights

Eagle/New Ulm Bantam A player: Settle this dispute like real men and have your manager call the 94 Fire up for another game.....before the end on the season..... a rematch. I have never heard of the Fire Hockey Club backing down or hiding from a worthy opponent!! It is not in their blood. Take notes...

The 96 Fire will probably surprise some of the skeptics on this forum. They
play at a high level in their Tier 1 program. Looking forward to seeing
if the PW teams can even keep up with these boys.

2nd game (Sunday) Tier 1 Shattuck 6 vs. Wayzata 2

SSM and Wayzata split this weekend.

Jancze, if SSM can beat Wayzata, they can compete
with any Bantam A team in MN. Wayzata is very strong.
Wayzata has approx 8 - 92s on their squad. SSM beat Edina 2-1

good example??

Jerry: Last year's SSM Tier 1 team was not to their normal caliber of excellence. Thus not a very good representative example of a top Tier 1 vs. MN Bantam A. Looks like a weaker Tier 1 team was on par with some of the best teams in MN Hockey. _______________________________________________________ ...

Re: USHL 92's Scouting list

All these boys can thank Mr McBain for the Michigan trip. Some are very overrated but you have to start some where. So go ahead and start the nitpicking. I got this off GopherPuckLive forum. Some are legit others are far off.one kid on this list didn't even make his Assc Bantam B1 team. Something d...
