Rules are rules. Plan around them up front or take the consequences. MSHSL made this rule and looks like they are not upholding it.

Maybe more of the moral majority should call the MSHSL and inquire/complain about the rumored waiver granted. But the player is on the varsity stats sheet for the past couple games.

Both athlete and parent had to sign these forms which spells out the rules and violations of the rules. These are nothing new and have been the rules for quite some time.

Many tournaments specifically state the policy in the tournament rules regarding artificial noise makers. Many arenas post signs that prohibit them. Any parent can pull their kid out of a game if they see he is not wearing
their mouthguard. How many parents and incidents like that would it take for the kids to know they better put it in their mouth if they want to play?
