https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/29893046/the-star-college-football-recruit-parents-unusual-decision-cross-country-move Move across the country, away from your wife, for your HS kid to play for a coach with serious moral and ethical issues? That’d be a HARD PASS on that one... It's ...

Re: No State Tournament at the X this Spring....

On the other hand, college hockey has been delayed until late November: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2020/09/10_Hockey-Officially-Delayed.php Not that it is a huge hit to the prospect of completing a reasonably full season, culminating in some form of championship, but it seems like hocke...

Re: No State Tournament at the X this Spring....

A big mess indeed. I am interested to see what their decision will be for winter sports. MSHSL seems to be regretting their decision for Fall sports. I would have to believe they are going to make more weighted decisions moving forward. I also found it interesting, and not at all surprising, that b...

Re: No State Tournament at the X this Spring....

Lots of moving parts. Some food for thought. If the MSHSL season started late, wouldn’t a school contract reflect the reduced season duration thus the coach is not being paid? Why would a coach need to resign HD position to coach MN Hockey if the MSHSL season hadn’t started? How is this different f...

Probably where it comes from the other 8 months of the year and where it came from for the 10 years they played hockey before they entered HS. So 2-3 hours a day for practice with U19AA/A and U19B. For games, five hours for the U19AA/A and U19B. Add in the families needing to take care of travel. T...

Re: No State Tournament at the X this Spring....

It's undoubtedly time for MSHSL to exit stage left and allow MN Hockey to run the HS aged hockey program for the year. Question: if MN Hockey “takes over”, where will the money for the ice time come from since high schools will not be on the hook? Associations will have to charge players/parents so...

New report from several B10 schools seems to contradict PSU findings https://saturdaytradition.com/big-ten-football/report-multiple-b1g-schools-say-were-not-experiencing-high-levels-of-myocarditis-among-student-athletes/ Certainly interesting. No worries.

The advancement can progress through Level 4. For Level 5, you must attend the USA Hockey Level 5 Symposium. Was supposed to be held in Duluth this year, but was cancelled.
Yeah, I was planning on attending. Is it true you’re part of Goldsworthy’s staff?

WOM; Touche' on posting before midnight! One clarification for you: Coaches who attend the MCHA fall clinic advance one level in their USA Hockey CEP certification process. They are not awarded Level 3. -bb Thanks blueblood. I obviously received inaccurate info. From my district director no less.

Re: Minnesota Hockey Taking Over?

Trying to get back to the original subject of this post again, does anyone have an outline of what a proposed U19 season would look like? 4.) Considering that USA Hockey and Minnesota Hockey aren’t at all liable for any Covid related legal challenges, whereas the MSHSL is, please explain why an MSHSL administrator should take on the risks of a player having a bad outcome due to Covid? During a typical year, our community doesn't hold tryouts for J Gold until after HS tryouts are completed, are other communities the same? Since no one has answered my questions yet, I thought I'd pass this along. Re: Minnesota Hockey Taking Over?

USA218.... my last post in response to your post regarding the CDC didn't set up properly in regards to how I intended to have the columns and their associated totals relate. I tried again but, when I previewed the post, it was going to look exactly the same again. Regardless, the way I explained it...
