Re: Single A preseason top 10
Just to clarify..... Lourdes did have some really good teams but their opponent in the 1A finals wasn’t, generally, a top 25 team. Maybe New Prague once. Also Lourdes was not in 1A for a few years, they were moved to a section with STA. Even in their best years Lourdes was no Red Wing. I don’t thin...

Re: Single A preseason top 10
Elliott- Thanks for starting this thread. Totally disagree with your rankings I feel like the non-inclusion of Gentry and having Alex and TRF in a top 10 is crazy but again I know you like to just start a conversation and have a northern love. Stang- Good rankings as always! You are such a good Clas...

Re: Bridge Season Games
An interesting Class A result, bearing in mind it is the first game for both teams: Sartell 4. Monticello 0 The Sabres are expected to be much improved this year, and that is a nice start. Stang be careful on using the bridge season as any kind of preview for High School Most A and B teams look to ...

Re: Boys State Hockey Tournament looking more likely this winter??
Thank you Elliott I was hoping this article wouldn't get railroaded by political nonsense.. Wolfman and blueblood couldn't help themselves I guess. I was just simply sharing that it looks more favorable for a winter tournament and precedent of no fall will not be there for the winter. Thanks for tho...

Added statistical support for "uh oh" with regard to winter hockey. Anoka County is shutting things down based on data from 9/27 - 10/10. Statewide, Minnesota averaged 1083.5 cases per day during that period. That data recommends that 44 of the state's 87 counties send secondary students home for d...

Been awhile since I checked this Forum out. Well, my sources were right about the Hockey Season getting chopped down to 18 games. Still, the month as it went a lot was filled with some at least excitement about games and Fans (Very limited) as we get the 1st week of December. I checked back with the...
