Re: Rosters 2020-21
For all of the hype and "this will be better with our new site" stuff, the current MSHSL site seems like a clunker to me. I hope it gets better. It looks nicer and more modern, but the old site was farm more useful for me.
Does MSHSL load rosters or is that on each school to manage their page?

Re: No State Tournament at the X this Spring....
MSHSL raising their fees to such crazy amounts is ridiculous. How many highly paid administrators have been cut and let go? How much "fluff" do they have for people to do simple tasks for them. Time to really look at this organization and tighten the belt. Do we really need a guy driving a car aroun...

Re: Minnesota Hockey Taking Over?
I'm sure the wait until October is calculated by the board. I know many feel they didn't cancel football now because many that are close to the borders would play in another state, which would be an issue for those schools.
I hope they have the hockey season

Re: Transfers 2020-21
It will be interesting to see what the MSHSL makes of transfers due to online learning. Can they punish a kid for going from a district that will only have online learning to a school that has in person school? I've been wondering the same thing myself, especially for the younger kids who need a pa...

Football just put out their schedules last week, they start a week later than usual...MEA break plays the last week on a Wednesday. This year MEA is week 7 and the next Tuesday is week 8. This will kill athletic budgets! The MSHSL gets dumber by the quarter. The attendance in every school is far hig...

But these teams played class A hockey had success and then moved up when they outgrew class A hockey. They realized they didn’t belong in class A. Re: AA tournament not a state tournament?
Dwindling enrollments become an issue in northern MN and the MSHSL, as bad as they may be at many things, has to try to fill the sections. I'm sure the STMA's, Rogers, Elk Rivers, Andovers, Forest Lakes etc...would rather stay near the metro, where they play most of their regular season games, but t...

Play by play guy is pretty good, Parrish is not. Jim Erickson does a great job, has for a long time. I remember listening to him doing HS games with BOB 106.1 before he got the SCSU job. I don't mind Parrish, but understand why some do not like him. There has to be a bunch of former MN HS players t...

The unseeded are then paired in their match-ups via a blind draw, is that how this works? "Blind draw" yeah. Don't know how blind it is or not, but that's what they say.
