Re: Nick Swaney

May be a little beyond the high school category.... Anyone besides me surprised Sandelin has Swaney spending a 2nd year in USHL instead of up in a UMD uniform this year? Lots of UMD players came back from last years roster, no room for Swaney. Great player! I agree with defensive zone. From a good ...

CM does not like the physical play generally that Wayzata brings. He avoids it and plays differently when playing a solid physical team than when he plays a team like Anoka. Didn't say he wasn't a good player because he is but the way to play him is be physical. He will have to figure this out befo...

I don't get why so many people have Ep over Wayzata. The trojans beat them more recently and have been much better down the stretch. I couldn't agree more. Wayzata is peaking at the right time. Looking forward to the tourney. It's great to see some new teams in it this year. I hope Stillwater wins ...

The problem is that Wayzata may have to beat them a fourth time in February to move through section finals. Codes anyone here believe they can beat Edina and Giles four times in one season? I just cannot see it happen! I don't think so either but the Trojans are playing some good hockey lately. Wow...

"half the north kids grew up playing at south"- Tony Scott For a guy with little credibility to begin with, its continues to erode with that comment. Enebak=only 1. Guess that's half the team.  Hey Sats, don't forget Reed Smith! It's still far from half though. Family moved i...

I'm going with Edina. It comes down to the X factor and for me that is Giles. Every year he seems to have his teams playing there best hockey come section time. There is no doubt that this year is going to be much more difficult with how well Wayzata is playing lately and the way BSM has been playin...

I won't be surprised if Farmington's season ends in Lakeville vs South. North will probably be the 1 seed. If Farmington does make it to Rochester, I don't think they beat North for a third time. I could be wrong! It's tough to beat someone 3 times in a year especially this group of North players. P...
