Re: CoVid-19

Have been on the forum for 7+ years and we have been able to keep political nonsense off of the forum.....cigar and bodyshots, there are other venues for that crap...your discussions here are welcome ,but, take that junk elsewhere, .... Yup. It would appear that a couple have recently been repriman...

Re: The Hermantown Thread

This thread is incredible . Makes drama in West Metro , East Metro , Omg and Lvs look like nothing in comparison ! This is the greatest "pissing match" in the history of pissing matches. =D> I am convinced that defense and hunters is the same person. Sitting in his/her mom's basement with two compu...

Re: 1996: Duluth East/Apple Valley

I think that was the only angle they provided. It looked in to me based on the time it took to break back away from the net. I really have no feelings one way or the other. It just looked in to me. I remember being a bit more emphatic about it back in '96. yeah: thats obviously not the full b...

Watching it right now. Duluth East won that game in the 2nd OT Looks like it hit the cross-bar...............were there more angles than those we saw in the clips above? I think that was the only angle they provided. It looked in to me based on the time it took to break back away from the net. I re...

So which is which
Perhaps both are in the same bucket....

Smart people just different opinions.
I would never call anyone stupid, but there is such a thing as a stupid argument. No wrong opinions though.....except those that disagree with mine.

I did that right, Right?

Re: The Hermantown Thread

Good grief you two. Give it a rest. It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person. Entertainment though huh? Well I don't know about that, but I certainly read the whole thing. I guess this social-distancing has me willing to...

Close the transfer freeway and see how far you get, that is the challenge to Hermantown Hockey!
I pretty much don't agree with many of your arguments, but this one hits the nail on the head.

Re: The Hermantown Thread

My question is: why is blame put on the program??? If nothing illegal was done according to Wow. What is everyone else's responsibility in this? I just think too much weight is put into a "Hermantown problem " and not enough into a Denfeld or Proctor or Ely or Hibbing problem. And nothing is said o...

Re: Future of Duluth Marshall

Have they found more players for next year? I know they have been working on that before looking at other options. They are still working on that and there has been some "talk" of new registrants, but nothing is confirmed until they are sitting in the classrooms in the fall. No confirmation on how ...

WIAA (Wisconsin) just canceled all of their state tournaments, including the in-progress girls basketball tournament. WAHA (Wisconsin Youth Hockey) just canceled their remaining youth tournaments. Bantams played last weekend, but PeeWee's were set to start today.

Re: Maple Grove vs Blake

Nice officiating. That should NEVER be called that late in a game. Absolute joke. That ref should not touch the ice again. If you think it prevented a goal and he wasn't pushed, you have to call that penalty. In real-time I thought it should've been delay of game too, but he was for sure pushed aft...

Re: The Hermantown Thread

There are blowout games all over the state every week. My kids both played in Alex and they have been both the hammer and the nail in countless games. The players get over it really quickly. The parents... not so quickly. So, please spare me the bullying comments. Ok. Let’s go down that road...

Re: Future of Duluth Marshall

It’s all interesting as I’ve heard from DM parents they think that is what’s going to happen as Pionk is the driving force. Unfortunately the Marshall parents don’t get a vote. Proctor’s season just ended on Tuesday. I highly doubt Scott has been the “driving force” behind anything other than coach...

Re: Association not allowing privates on top teams

I'd be willing the bet that if you surveyed the parents of the top 10 AA bantam players (the kids not on the bubble), most or all would want "bantam AA first line Johnny" on the AA team even though he's a 9th grader at Holy Grace High School and their kids are going to the local public high school....
