Re: Early Christmas Present: Boys State Hockey Tournament (Meeting Dec 3rd)

Absolutely ridiculous to try to start games by Jan 4th. We've been shut down for months and now we're going to try to cram a bunch of practices and a scrimmage or two around Christmas and New Year's. Also, what happened to the mandatory pause around Christmas earlier, wiping out all of the holiday ...

Re: Early Christmas Present: Boys State Hockey Tournament (Meeting Dec 3rd)

Seems like a no brainer they would keep everything shut down through the 1st of the year. Start winter sports up then, with games starting around 12th-15th. Any potential Covid cases from the holiday gatherings should be taken care of before then. Could have section finals completed by Thursday, Ap...

Re: covid and MH

Schotzy...my apologies if you find that sentence "unnecessary". The reason I state it is because almost no one on here who has strongly opposed "lock downs/stay at home" orders or, argues that the "cure can't be worse than the disease", ever acknowledges that limiting community spread is the ultima...

Can we all take a break from arguing this? We all want the same things - life to return to normal, to drink low-quality beer with our friends and families, Hill-Murray to lose at State, and Hermantown to move up to AA.
Yup

Re: Top 03 Forwards Playing MSHSL Next Season

Stats don't necessarily tell as much of the story with D men. Joe Palodichuk has 1 G and 0 Asst, but would put him right toward the top of 03 Dmen, if not the top that are playing in EL. Exactly. D-men should not necessarily be judged on points. I think +/- is a better measurement. Of course points...
