Harrington?
Is there any chance John Harrington from SJU might take a look at it? I know he's come close at both UMD and Alaska when there were openings there... Just curious.

Paying the price
One thing that comes up is that when a kid goes to a private school, it hurts the public school. Someone above mentioned that it hurt the school financially. Now, I'll admit that they lose the headcount when it comes to getting state money, but the parent of that child still pays the taxes that help...

Open Enrollment is the problem
If there was no open enrollment available, then I would tend to agree that the private schools are an issue, but I know of more movement within public schools for reasons of sports than private schools. Many of the kids going to private schools would go there anyway. Even in the little areas in cent...

What about those 16's??
So, what was said above, there were already 9 picked for the 16 level?? Too bad that wasn't published before the tryouts began.... "We're looking for 6 skaters to fill the team, come one come all...." Wow!! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/image...

Wow, already wanting to start into the muck?? I think that until the dust settles and all the players commit back to their schools, it's a toss-up at best. DM - Class Act..
Duluth Marshall folks, BE PROUD of your players and fans. I saw some pretty classy acts out there. I talked to a coach who said that the show of respect by the players and fans was very impressive...

I suppose this'll close the "Who's gonna win 2A" thread for the season. See you al...

Travel Record
I apologize for the misleading post about the DM travel record. Where I was heading was their record against top teams when they have to travel more than an hour.. (Lourdes, SSM, I'Falls, etc...) I "believe" that the record is something like 2-5 in that case, but I could be wrong.. Travel ...

Who wants it??
You know, there is no reward for the fan who can talk the biggest game here.. (ask Mora) It's going to come down to who, as a team, wants it more.... The fans will help, but it's still going to be played on the ice with 40 kids, 8 coaches and two refs....
Their season record - doesn't matter... ...

SCC Mora game
I have to say this once, and will never comment on this again.. Mora should be ashamed of their players. That was a sad thing to watch. The real sad thing is that it's not all of the players, but their reputations will stick with them for years.. What a way to end a career in hockey boys... Why does...

Re: Section 2A
I agree that both games will be good ones... DM and SR, I think that SR has the ability to win, but DM is very tough. I think DM by at least two goals.. they've just done better against top competition all year, where SR has struggled against good teams.. but SR is playing well now..

SCC over...

Princeton v. SR
I still think the Princeton / Sauk Rapids game could be the best game of this round. Princeton should be the better team, no doubt. However, SR did beat Princeton once this season. Well said
DB33 and MK, well said in support of your programs.. Very well stated.. I am in agreement that this is a pretty tough section despite what folks outside of it think. Re: Official 2A seedings go as following

Re: the sleeper...
I don't disagree with SR being a possible "sleeper" team. I think that as far a possible teams in the final game, I'd say that it could be DM, SCC, Ptown, and SR. I really don't know that anyone else can get through the early rounds to get to the final four, and then the final two. I'd lov...
