Nice part about this board is everyone is entitled to their opinions. Including hunting247 who comes out of the woodwork now! Sats, your squad has been on a roll and to go along with the W's you have been shoveling your LVN #$%* down our throats the past two years so it is nice to see some of it fl...

Re: Stillwater - Lakeville North
Take all the shots at LN you would like. However, this program has lost 3 HOCKEY GAMES since December 7th 2013. 3 GAMES. They have gone on a run of 57-3. Had 2 separate winning streaks of 19 and 31 games. 9 D-1 commits, 2 state championship games, 1 state title. Let that all sink in. Again, let tha...

My brother is still in hornet land and gave me his opinionated update after watching the first 3 nights of Edina tryouts: D locks are Phillips, Mickelson, Tabor, Johnson and Foley. Last spot probably to M. Hankinson or Hatch (both seniors). F locks are Dornbach, Tucker, Moon, Copeland, Walker, Sche...

Section 6AA looks to be open for the taking this year. Would like to see Hopkins and Cretin contend to push Edina, Wayzata and Benilde. Edina: Obviously great players but not the proven depth that they have enjoyed in the past. Younger talent is exceptional and will have no other option than to carr...

I think what SWPrez makes sense BUT I don't think it is better than the current situation. What I mean is that you need to pick the LESSER of the evils and I believe the current system does that. SWPrez proposal is going to lead to opportunities for the kids that are making the transfer but they are...

My comments below are not intended to say any of these players are better than the others, again, tough decisions for sure. Just head scratchers for me. How are these guys left off the invite? ...

The writer came across as a Victim - frankly, he must not be that smart. Sign your kid up based on your own agenda, get the season started and blend in all the other activities within the schedule for the C team. Most coaches could care less by the time December rolls around that you are missing a f...

Re: AA State Hockey Tournament
This is shaping up to be a great field for the state tourney. Some great sectional games yesterday and the best games are yet to come to determine the 8 teams in state. My state tourney prediction and seeds are as follows: Section 1: Farmington knocks off LS to get the chance to play LN for a trip ...

Considering East's difficult schedule, I don't think fear of losing is a reason not to play those two teams. I assume they'd rather play AA competition like Minnetonka, Wayzata, Eden Prairie, etc. I'd much rather see East play Edina on a yearly basis than either Hermantown or Duluth Marshall. Best ...
