Re: Section 4AA thread
There was talk the Sager is done coaching at the section finals last Friday. Anybody have the scoop? There is always talk about Sager being done after this familiar scene plays out. He's 2-7 vs Hill-Murray in Section Finals. https://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii2/ndmndad/20200302_173843%20640x360_...

Re: Section 4AA thread
Back in the day, Aldrich was home ice to numerous teams. Harding. Johnson. No. St. Paul. Tartan. WBL. Stillwater. One by one, they all sought greener pastures. If it weren't for Hill, and the financial investments they have made , the building would hold nothing but dry floor events all year long. ...

Re: Section 4AA thread
When you play 50% of your games on a rink, that does fgive you an advantage. Also hill gets their home bench, even if they are the away team in playoffs, cause it is wheelchair friendly. They get their own locker room, with game media to review between periods. Also, the Hill booster club gets the p...

I find it interesting that Hill gets to play the entire section tourney on their home ice .Doesn't seem quite fair does it? Of course the tournament director is Jeff Whistler, a Hill guy

Does anyone know why they moved the quarterfinals away from Aldrich? It was always a fun day.

4AA section quarterfinals
In the past, 4AA quarterfinals were all held on the same day at Aldrich. It was a fun day, and you could watch 4 games, which usually included at least 1 upset. This year, all on same day, but at high seed. What a shame, ruins a fun day. I wonder what the reason for the change is?

Re: White Bear/Hill
Sager will get outcoached again! Bears will get a 1 or 2 goal lead, Then he will start the Sager Sag, to protect the lead, he has done it time and time again, never works.

The Bears struggled with The Royals in both regular season games this year. Can the 3rd game be a charm for Woodbury?

If these 2 teams faceoff again on good ice, I predict a different outcome. I think the bad ice hurt Andovers offense, and helped Tonkas D.

An average Cretin team wins The cup by tying Hill and beating 2 below average teams, like I said, this tourney has gone way downhill.

Schwans Cup
This tourney at least in the Gold Division has really lost its luster. Only 4 teams, very small and quite crowds, and average hockey. After attending this event for years, this may be the last year for me.
