Re: orono
well you guys lost to cretin 3-2 while orono beat them 5-1, why doesnt that qualify as a quality win. because you have a highly connected coach at a school that is renound for grades and have the parents to pay for their kids to go to these schools doesnt make them any better. im curious as to how m...

Re: orono
so a coach who is at armstrong for 10 years and goes to to blake for a year makes him a blake product. i dont think so. however i dont really understand why u brought the coachs into the mix. orono would have been just as succesful with just about any coach. and we werent even talking about coachs w...

Re: fastest...
its true ive seen this kid out on the ponds, if he can build on what he had last year, he'll be a kid to watch. on a side note i regret to inform the hokcey community that local legend patrick flemming has decided to hang up his skates and call it quits.

new coach named
reports from orono have come out that kevin armstrong will return as coach. he apparently signed a 30 year deal worth $400 million, with a bunch of incentives and a no firing clause

I feel that orono will need to find a good coaching team, wiesjahn tooled lloyd around and lloyd would follow him around like a little puppy! good luck to the both of the coaches.

it seems that todd weisjahn has left orono, after becoming only the 3rd coach in oronos 50 + year history after only 2 seasons. a turncoat

Re: college w/o juniors
junior hockey is a scam. no other major college sport requires something like junior hockey. its a way for colleges to stockpile kids for years to come and for old men to make money off of young kids. some players are figuring this out, like niskanen, who said no to playing juniors in order to play ...

what are some other high school legends, like the one about rasmey wolfe scoring 6 goals with his broken femur, and pat flemming scoring 3 goals in the last minute to tie the game and a fourth in overtime to win the game. He was then hit by an arrant water bottle that knocked him out

Re: Ramsey Wolfe-blake
turns out he just turned down an offer to play for the Chicago Steel of the USHL, which in turn ruins his chance to play for U of M. Now looking at possibility of playing at Boston College. Or he might pursue his football career at USC considering he ran a 4.3 40yd, and led the state with 15int last...

Re: Article on High School Elite League
whenever any kid has success its always credited to the elite league. How can this be when three goalies from moorhead make it? As is in most things, the league has politics up the wazoo, and i believe that the players who are succeeding from this, would succeed anyway.

orono is one of the poorest schools in the state, like 5th poorest. the only people that are rich in orono are the old people. as for next, tommrow @ 12:00 verse SCC or Hibbing.
