Debating how the seeding will end up is fun, but as I stated earlier, seeding really doesn't matter in the end. The team playing the best hockey will win the section tourney regardless of where they have to play, particularly after the quaterfinals. To be the best, you must beat the best.

Seems to me that DJ is really grasping at straws pretty much every post he makes to try and somehow help GR get a better seed or prove that they are a top team. Flat out, they just aren't that special this year. They may be able to upset a top team, but they're miles off of what they were last year...

I wouldn't say anyone counted out DE. They are 17-2-1 against GR in the last 20 and have always put a very well coached squad out on the ice. I agree with all of your other comments. The playoffs are a long way off and anything can happen there once the puck drops.

I'm not surprised. I saw a very disciplined DE team and an undisciplined GR team. There is no question regarding the separation of the two teams at this point in the season. Great crowd size.

I'm just hoping that everyone plays the best of their ability and comes off the ice healthy. GR has a tough game against Hermantown tomorrow as well.
