The threshold for AA/ A is different in boys than girls because the difference in the number of teams and their makeup -- fewer smaller class A schools means the enrollment threshold is lower than the boys version... There are approximately 30 more boys teams in the state than girls

Hey agenda boy, I hope your daughter graduated so we can quit listening to you, now lets return to coaching changes as a general topic with observations... I'm not sure what point you are trying to make with that? or are you just trying to make my point? My point is none of those girls got better at...

Is the Flake goalie into the boys program, ala Rooney? If so, Andover is heavy favorite and with spotty scoring, Flake might slide to 3 seed Teams on the rise this year. I think there are 2 ways in which to rank SECTIONS. You can rank them by looking at the cumulative rankings for every team in the SECTION or,,,, I think a BETTER way is to look at the cumulative ranking of the TOP 4 teams in each SECTION..to get a sense of how difficult each section is to get throu...

My money is on Forest Lake, but it should be competitive this year. Duluth will not contend but will have some quality wins. Grand Rapids doesn't have enough depth on the blue line to be a top 4 team this year. 1. F. Lake 2. Elk River 3. Princeton 4. Andover But Princeton, with one player, is a top...

Can Flake be stopped in 7AA, no longer the underdogs of the past two years? Can the Elks make another section final? Is Andover ready to unseat those two? Are Rapids, Cambridge or Princeton able to pull an upset of the favorites?

My Jacks can finally compete. The switch to A was smart and needed to keep girls hockey alive in Cloquet. Hermantown isn't the queen of the north anymore, especially with their embarrassing loss last year to the young Marshall team. Expect my Lady Jacks, Hibbing and Marshall to fight for the right ...

On the Marshall comments: I believe opting up is a 4-year commitment, so they're stuck in AA for another two. There is some okay young talent there; I'm skeptical it'll be enough to do any serious damage with what CEC, DE, and ER have coming through their systems, but they'll at least be able to se...
