I was told by a Stillwater JGA mother that they were ABSOLUTELY abused and belittled by the high school coach/coaches! Her words not mine. Keeping in mind that there are always two sides to every story. She claimed they were so poorly treated that the association begged the JGA team to let them play...

You wouldn't have wanted to be on the light rail yesterday evening ~ I'm sure it would have been full of upset & angry St Thomas Academy and Hill Murray fans! Talk about sketchy people.

Forest Lake has been sending White Bear a few players recently so it would only be fair for White Bear to return the favor and send them a coach........ Let's keep our fingers crossed and maybe an extra prayer now and then wouldn't hurt.

I will give the Ponies credit for one thing - they have the best "Hype Man" in the state.

I'm no hockey genius but is it possible the Ponies came up short at the X because their jerseys were so hideous? What happened to the classic tackle twill? Old time hockey - Eddie Shore. What's next the huge bumper sticker on the forehead!

With only a few games remaining in the season the point leader for White Bear has 19 total points (a defenseman). Top forward has 18 points. In comparison here are the point leaders per season for some of the previous years: '10-'11 65pts. '11-'12 68pts. '12-'13 67pts. '13-'14 77pts. So now the mill...

This game should be a coin toss unless DE finds themselves in the box - then the odds swing heavily in favor of the Hounds.

Looking forward to next weeks rankings. Any chance you could give a brief summary on your thought process (like Karl) per team? No need to do every team, maybe just the top 130 or so!

Karma, as Retired Ref pointed out numbers do not appear to be an issue. White Bears Association has "fleas". For those not familiar with the "fleas" they are a small group that hold Board positions and high level coaching positions. They promote one another and pass key coaching ...

I see the "AA" Bantam team was knocked out of the VFW playoffs by Roseville, a team they beat 9-1 in December. Does that have something to do with "lower participation"? Also noticed the top five ranked "AA" Peewee's didn't fair very well in Regions. Is that due to &quo...

"Dear Hockey Gods, please help White Bear Lake"

Could someone please save White Bear Lake from itself? One only needs to look at the performance of their top level teams and see there is a problem.

To the best of my knowledge the coaches at each level would have final say in the tournament brackets. Looks like a poor decision by a less than average coaching staff. Way to bring shame to what has been known as a premier tournament up until this year. Moose would be ashamed!

I don't think HD41 is predicting, I think he is merely stating that if he were to make a prediction it would be that anyone making a prediction would simply be predicting a poor showing for Team MN, I think??? Now I'm confused! HD41 is very predictable - or is he???
