I do not see Stillwater getting past Hill...they just are not deep enough. Cates can be a game changer but Hill's depth will be too much. It will be another groundhog day as Stillwater gets beat by Hill again. Go Govs!

StayAtHomeD what have you been drinking? Cates is solid.... no doubt about it and as far as the Stillwater defense Mogren was a first line starter since he was a sophomore.....guess that does not make him any good. Congrats to the W.B.L team. They are having a great year. Let's hope they can continue.

drop the puck

The Stillwater coaches Hously and Doman have played at the highest level....you do not get there by being convinced you are going to lose going into a game. Who ever ends up playing Hill will be ready.

This should be a very physical game. It will probably come down to which goalie plays best and who stays out of the box.

With that thinking then year after year Stillwater puts a J.V. team on the ice to play varsity teams. In 2008 Stillwater’s J.V. team took Hill’s J.V. team to OT in the section finals…ha.…….but at least they did not lose any players for disciplinary reasons nor frozen feet from hazing like some secti...

First, there are some coaching issues with both W.B.L and Stillwater. Second, there are more than a few kids lost in Stillwater’s case and that will never change until certain coaches at the high school level are removed, quit, resign, or get fired. The Athletic Director has to address the issue or ...

4AA - If stillwater ends up a 3 seed they could possibly go......depending on goal tending. They would have to be low scoring games.

What is wrong with a 3-0 win or 2-1 win.............and why is this not good hockey in the eyes of Abandoneerpride guy? Low scoring defensive battles can be very intense.

Either way it's WBL's last year to be a factor for a while. Their youth feeder programs are average at best while the Stillwater program is getting stronger. The wildcard for Stillwater is..... how many will go private?

Maybe it will the start changing of the guard in the SEC as it looks like the black and red are doing quite well in the feeder programs and have the numbers. If the "Punies" can beat the Mighty Bears in sections maybe it will be the start of a good run for them? District 2 Stillwater Youth...
