Re: Bridge Season Games
Saw a fun Bsm vs Cdh game today at SLP . A 5-4 Bsm win . Both teams had full complement , except Adam Marshall was missing for Bsm Bsm played backup goalie, Limesand played yesterday Bsm an older and bigger team , with 8 elites . Sarsland got 2, and does not hesitate to move puck in deep. Callahan ...

Re: Bridge Season Games
Solid game. BSM played without 5/6 varsity players including 3 Elite League players. Looked like HF had full varsity roster. Good to see both teams playing real hockey including 3 periods, intermissions, announcer, music and decent crowd to watch. Other bridge games have been played more like scrim...

Re: Transfers 2020-21
Early information that a top 10 team in search of goalie talent may possibly find one from a very uncommon non traditional source . Stay tuned . Ben Norris is going to BSM, coming from Orono. He'll be a D1 player eventually Well, with him, the two Lakeville kids and eventually Podein that 9th grade...

Re: 6AA/2AA Section Final Coverage
The ref did not miss seeing #20 take out the goalie. He told #30 from BSM that he thought he was outside the crease so he let it go. Wasn't even close to being outside crease. Blown call and took game away from Red knights.

Re: 6AA/2AA Section Final Coverage
MinnScout it appears you have at least one valid point. While i can't find footage of the check from behind, many have suggested the same thing: should/could have been called a minute prior to the penalty shot call. Regarding Blake's third/tying goal, I did find some pretty clear footage at about 2...

Re: 6AA/2AA Section Final Coverage
I also thought the penalty shot call in overtime was correct in the Blake/Benilde game and admire the refs for having the guts to make that call in that situation. Clear scoring opportunity taken away from the Blake shooter as he was bearhugged by the Benilde defender in the offensive zone after th...

With all of this hand wringing in regard to EP recruiting kids / transfers I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on Lakeville South. You have 3 kids leave Farmington who are currently on the LS Bantam AA and 1 other kid who is a 9th grader who left Farmington for LS varsity. You also have a kid who w...

I was responding to those that said the coach brought them in because there clearly is a line Between simply transferring and being recruited.

Re: Jackson Blake
It’s clear you don’t know how some of those players ended up at LVS. The 4 Farmingtom players have played with LVS kids in the summer for years and decided on their own to transfer because Farmingtom was such a mess under coach Marsh. As for the Apple valley goalie, well he got put on the bantam C ...

Re: Jackson Blake
Only reason JB is part of the conversation is because of all the other players that have gone thru the transfer process and have to do it correctly to get eligible. It doesn't matter if the parents have to separate homes in EP. When he started 9th grade at Shattuck and transferred back to EP in Dec...

JB is not eligible until after Holidays. Only other way is if they appealed to MSHL and somehow were granted immediate eligibility by some other means.

Re: Jackson Blake
Yes, he does have to get eligible to start the season at EP otherwise he would not be able to play varsity until after Holidays. Once he started 9th grade at shattuck going back to EP is a transfer. To be eligible before Holidays family would have to move out of EP school district, or if parents are...

Re: Moving to Minnesota for HS Hockey
Thanks for clarifying I agree with Scout that it's very well run.....and attended. Their budget is "a little bigger" than the budget of the local associations that are run by a group of volunteers My issue with these tournaments (this and the brick) is that it's a coach to win tournament to early i...
