Kudos to Cretin. Well played game. Tough loss for the Red Knights. Ken Pauly had a great year behind the bench. Is there anyone out there who thought BSM would end the year with one loss? How many had BSM as a top five team pre-season? This team won four OT games and had several comeback wins agains...

Congrats to Auggie and the Knights last night Terry! Terrific season for them and great season for Auggie, who is a great kid. Any news on Gleekel from the team doctor?
Thanks for the kind words. As to Cade, the team doc never talks medical stuff with me , so I never know.

Great game last night at PIC. Final BSM 4-Wayzata 2 Wayzata dominates first and scores only 1. BSM dominates second and scores only 1. Wayzata takes 2-1 lead in last ten minutes then BSM scores 30 seconds later. BSM gets game winner with 4 to play on a pretty goalmouth pass. BSM adds eng for 4-2 fin...

(sigh) Sats, the principle is the same if we use Karl's rankings. Mr. Fire said Wayzata's has played everybody and that has made them a better team than Edina and BSM. BSM has played about as much of "everybody" as any team and more different ('"everybody") Top 15 teams than Wayz...

Wayzata has played everybody and because of that they are a better team now I have to call out the Holy Family guy for being wrong on his facts. BSM has played more "everybody" than Wayzata. Using the LPH January 27 rankings, BSM has played 2,5,6,7,8,10,12 (next week) 13 and 14. That's no...

Farmington v BSM

This is just to give kudos to a strong Farmington team after BSM won 2-1 in OT last night. Farmington has a strong D-corps and works harder than anyone we have seen this year. Last night they were physical in all three zones and controlled BSM for stretches of the game. Their goalie was great last n...

Mn_H_Fan: Currently, players do not sign their Letter of Intent until the year before they go to school. They could remove that requirement to permit a player to sign an LOI at any time with the entry year designated. Thus, the end of the recruiting barrage would be signing the LOI, not making a sof...

Its like Bones said-"you can't deny the laws of physics". As long as colleges can verbally commit, there will be a race to get the best players at younger ages. Coach Lucia has to get the best players in Minnesota. If he does not grab them at age 15 or 16 (following 15 Nat Camp) someone el...

Dr. G Please do not lump the Blades in with for-profit groups. The Minnesota Blades are a certified non-profit organization and have been for many years. None of our directors take any money. We even pay for our own kids to play. For this reason, a typical youth Blades team costs about 65% of the fo...

Actually, The Blades have been competing pretty well the last three years.

We lost in the Championship and in the semi-finals in the past two years. This year, we missed the playoffs only with a loss to Boston in the last pool play game (3-3 record).

The Blades are truly a non-profit. We are designated as such under the law. We are also that in reality.
