14 out of 19 still perfect (74%). Of those 14, 11 have Quinnipiac, who is down by 4 goals in the 3rd. Perfect brackets could be down to 3 by tonight. On the other side of things, 3 brackets are imperfect, KarlEast, Elliot70, and HoundHockey, proving that you should never get your NCAA tips from anyo...

This is a great idea. I've been looking for an incentive to make great posts and this should totally be a yearly thing. My nominees... Best Defender of the Faith - karl (east) ranked his Greyhounds in like every single one of his rankings. He probably has Mike Randolph's number on speed dial. And th...

Annandale at SEVEN?! Are you kidding me? Annandale is at the lowest a number three ranking and why in the heck is Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato not in the top 10? 2015 is the year of the central Minnesota teams. And don't worry about Trinity fielding a hockey team next year. Southern metro hockey teams n...

The Zach Halverson Tourney Recap!
Good morning everyone and welcome to the first annual Zach Halverson Tourney Recap. I have no clue if there will be a second annual, but I figured if there is I will already have a head start! First of all, I would like to see a change in the censor trigger. Could someone please change it from "...

But seriously, someone who is good at planning should totally get this thing rolling. Well it can't be at a bar if you're coming, right Zach? I thought you were just a young lad! I'm 19, but I look like I'm 40. Plus, I don't have to drink and as long as this isn't being held at 2 a.m., I should be ...

Re: Karl Holding Court?
I think it's time for a Forum Meet-up during the tournament. It may be too late for this year. But I'm thinking of something between the A and AA finals at an establishment near the X. Maybe one that runs shuttles, or maybe McGoverns isn't too crowded then. Drink can flow, blood can be spilled, and...

They should nationally televise it. Put it on NBC sports or something or ESPN2.... I think it could grow into a huge national following. If FOX Sports North had the rights, I wouldn't doubt that they would put at least a few games on the national sports network FOX Sports 2, as they did for Hockey ...

Jim Erickson is great. Thank God no Housley this year. Worst ever. Agree on Erickson, he does a ton of games on BOB and knows his stuff. Was he one of the two guys broadcasting the Andover-Elk River 7AA semifinal? If so, very good choice. Those two were fun to listen to and knew their stuff. Lee No...

If this was Doc, I wouldn't worry. Heck, Emrick would know where many of the players played their Squirt hockey, who their coach was, and how many goals they scored that year. That wasn't the case with Gary when he did the Frozen Four broadcasts, and it was a big reason why I favored the switch to J...

Don't get too excited. He didn't do his prep work in 2012 and pronounced Don Lucia's name Don Loo-see-ah. He's one of the best hockey announcers ever, but he hasn't done any research for any hockey games that he has done in recent years. He isn't coming to St. Paul until Wednesday night, and my sour...
