Very interesting to say the least. Anyone else remember the huge rush towards the supposed "concussion proof" M11 helmets a few years back? Turns out they're nothing special aside from the huge frontal design flaw that led to many players cutting their foreheads when taking a relatively st...

Not even from Edina, ironically I'm an Eden Prairie guy. Can't believe people are bashing Edina over a national tournament. They're our representative like it or not, and so far they've done nothing but affirm my convictions regarding the strength of MHL JGA hockey and MN hockey as a whole. Also, sm...

Edina defeats Orange Lutheran, the state champ of California, 8-4. Now sitting at 2-0.

Also for the record, JGA and USA Hockey were going to send a representative regardless of who won state. Had Wayzata pulled it off on Monday, they would be the ones in St. Louis.

It's still played every so often on FSN North. I remember watching it this time last year. The documentary is also on replay in the high school hockey portion of the Eveleth hall of fame.

The ACT test is available for students to take every two months. They can take it as many times as they wish, and the test only takes a total of five hours. If there's a scheduling conflict, find another date to take the test.

Why not just have the A and AA winners play each other? Seems simple enough, but it seems like the concept is never really taken seriously by anyone. The tourney ends on Saturday, so why not play it on Sunday night? The ratings for this game would be off the chart every year, and the stories of ups...

Don't end your sentences with a preposition. Perhaps you haven't passed high school English yet, so maybe we shouldn't take your opinion seriously. Of this, I am absolutely sure. Oh, and by the way, anyone that types out a sentence as choppy as "Perhaps you haven't passed high school Eng...

False. .... Did you just put top-tier and Junior Gold in the same sentence? ... If so, we have logical reason to invalidate your point completely. Thanks for stopping by. Lee benefited greatly from the amount of time he spent away from the rink as a youth. One of those kids that never really lost his passion for the game or got burnt out post-high-school like so many of the year round players do now a days.

Finally gave in and saw Luverne play over at the Schwann's Cup, and was disappointed in their overall talent level to say the least. Ended up losing to Kennedy in the open division final. Few weeks later, watched as they fell to Johnson. Not that I don't believe in giving south west teams a chance a...
