Re: A, B1, B2, C What's the difference?

I think you answered the question in your first sentence, "average association". I'm guessing CR is Coon Rapids, so you will be playing Centennial, Blaine, Elk River, Anoka, Andover etc. Some of the best and biggest associations in the state. Now most associations have enough skilled play...

Humor me old Blue, what's the word?

Thanks to those that actually stayed on subject. Here is the scoop. We have 3 teams B1, B2 and C. 3 goalies - returning Ban A and 2 PW A from last year. B1 coach would like to keep 2 goalies. The only reason that we are looking for a C goalie is that our association only allows kids to waive in at t...

No - it is not fair. You think that Chisago Lakes is a large association and St. Cloud is a small association?? It is a ridiculous way to set up the leagues (they do it at other levels too) because you are awarding teams that have an easier schedule and at times have a worse record than teams in the...

Re: here's one

I usually see it where pool play has a max goal differential, like +5 or +6. I'm sorry, but there should be no incentive to pile on goals past a handful. Here are the tiebreaker from our tournament TIEBREAKERS: 1 – Head to Head game 2 – Least amount of goals given up in all Pol games 3 – Most goals...
