Re: 2AA

Yeah and losing and tying lakeville north is such an accomplishment  The problem with Jefferson is they play down to their opponents level sometimes. Lakeville North wasn't the worst team in the world this year either, though. But still, they should have scraped them. And AHA will not win this...

Re: 2AA

Just curious...what makes you rank Holy Angels above Burnsville and Jefferson? Tying Edina  I would say that Burnsville has proven they are a good team and possibly better than AHA, but, to the fault of both teams, they have not played so we won't know. While AHA has more losses, they are mos...

Don't forget the early-season win versus Woodbury, too.. So many of these teams are inconssitent -even.. For the good, there is also the Stllwater thumping of 6-3... A loss to Cloquet was not all that good, although Cloquet has played better as of late, but Park is only 2-7-1 on the year. With that...

Section 2AA

We all know the section 2AA, including powerhouses Edina, Jefferson, Holy Angels and Burnsville, is one of the two elite sections in the state along with 6AA. In saying this who do you think will win section 2AA this year in 2010 and why?

I made it out to the AHA vs Minnetonka game and the stars looked good they were down and came back until a spirit deflating power play goal. AHA had more chances than Minnetonka did they just couldn't pull the trigger but i felt AHA is better than everyone thinks they are i have AHA 4-1 over the hor...

i think they lost to eagan at BIG 4-3 so i would not count Wayzata out because of that. I like Wayzata in this one 4-1 :)

Can we seriously not give Breck any respect because they are class A? Sure they could move up and not be as sucessful. Numbers show they don't have to. Breck was and is a very good team. If they weren't they wouldn't have found a way to stop Hanowski. If this topic was "Little Falls: State Cha...

Without a doubt in 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 the lead candidate and winner of Mr. Hockey and future Hobey Baker winner will be hands-down Alec Koenen of the Holy Angel's stars

Re: Best line in the state

I'll one-up the Lake Conference thread...how about the best line in the state? I'm actually working on an article with such a question and have some nominees: Edina’s Marshall Everson, John Eppel and Connor Gaarder Edina's Anders Lee, Charlie Taft and Michael Sit Rochester Lourdes’ Cole Peterson, T...

Re: Anders Lee---Notre Dame???

This article in the StarTribune says at the end of the article he will be playing for Notre Dame in 2010-2011 after a year in GB. I had not heard this anywhere else. Can someone confirm?
