If a Junior was invited to tryout for Elite League and was cut do they get automatically placed on a Elite D League roster or do they have to tryout if they want to play in D League?

Same questions as above, but for a Sophomore.

Could it be that some of the players not selected were recently in front of the USA guys (a couple of weeks ago) and they want to see some different players?

We live 10 minutes from Edina. We drive 45 minutes to get to Blaine (with some practices smack in the middle of rush hour. ACK.)
