3 classes in hockey?
Bad idea...3 classes wouldn't cause AD's to change the regular season schedules much...the blow-outs you noted (Hastings 16-2 over Greenway, STA 14 - 0 over SSP would still occur)...so while I'd prefer just one class with a 16 team field...the present system is just fine...at least the A schools tha...

Re-match on 1/21
The rematch on Jan 21 on Anoka's regulation size ice sheet should also feature the return of James Campbell, a 6'4'' 200lb sophomore D who played Elite2 this fall...he has an incredibly large wing span, like Martel's, and uses it very well when covering down low...something Anoka did poorly in the 1...

penalty call
#20 for ER got the penalty for high sticking on the back check...following an Anoka rush...Anoka then scored a power play goal with about 5 minutes to go...#15 may have also got a penalty for pointing at the scoreboard at some point...but it did not result in Anoka's goal. ER has the upper hand for ...

Anoka has 2 sophomore forwards (19 & 29), one freshman forward (9) and one sophomore D (26) skating on their top 2 lines...they are a very young team that will only get better with time. Also, I'm not sure how good you eyesight is cause 19 missed a breakaway after he blew by the ER defenders and...

Pryor
Starting tonight, Nick Pryor will have a chance to prove why he is on the University of Wisconsin recruit list. Obviously, it is very unusual for any player who has not played a single varsity game to be on this type of list. What PAMESH was getting at is while thought of as a solid player by his pe...

ER
Good luck to Petey...I hope he makes it to the NHL some day...he is a great kid...but to the ER herd, before you pat yourself on the back too much, don't forget, he came up in the Anoka Assoc...so did Martel...the Andover split from Anoka is why they decided to play for ER.

Section 7A/7AA
No surprise here...Section 7 had a core group of players who have been winning tournaments since Pee Wees...they were well coached, played strong defensive hockey and had great goaltending...I think some other teams were better offensively and had as much overall talent...but they were the best TEAM...
