According to the report I heard...it was HGH. Really a sad thing.
Any MSHSL rules preventing him from rejoining his team?
Great question..If he tested positive for HGH then wouldn't that make him ineligible per MSHSL rules on HGH use?

Agree. (Heard the boys in orange had to run sprints in their suits and ties after the game.)
Or was it Herbies until the lights went out! Nice job Edge!

With a A/AA option most small associations with less than 4 teams will declare A. Would this then allow players from the small association to tryout at a neighboring association that had an AA designation for their level?

I know our team would love to come up to Roseau like many others but ar this time of year most teams 35 game limit is accounted for with remaining district games and playoffs and tourneys.

Either create a AA and A division or require associations that have greater than 'X" number of players per level(Squirt,PeeWee,Bantam) to field two A teams.

How about for boys that don't want to check! Let the Peewees check and let the boys that don't want to play with the girls!

1.No teams from Europe will be there. That is false information. 2. Does a child at 10 years old get better from December to July? It seems a little early for a try-out. 3. Do kids have to miss there own organizations games for that weekend? Just some thoughts, http://www.edmontonsun.com/sports/hoc...

If these B teams can beat most average A teams, then shouldn't they, themselves, be an A team?? Muck, use Edina as an example. The Pee Wee B1 teams could beat most A teams in the state, but probabale none of those in District 6. For them to "be an A team" they'd need to play elsewhere, wh...

I think this seems like a reasonable idea and better then the waiver to another association. I think since it is optional, travel will be known prior to the player trying out and up to the family. You could have both the waiver and the District team available and let the District's decide for now h...

Totally agree..They promote their program but won't answer the number one question that most parents will have as a basis for considering the program. What are they hiding? Don't have them identified yet? potentially fathers of new recruits? Program is already smelling fishy!

Wayzata and OMG will be the D3 #1 and D3 #2 depending on who wins their game on Friday. The #3 seed out of D3 will most likely be the winner vs. Orono and Hopkins (On Wednesday, Hopkins plays Armstrong and Orono plays N. Metro to advance to Friday's play in game for the 3rd seed). Fron what I've seen this winter, I would pick the following to advance from their pools for the PeeWee A's:

Bursville
Hopkins
STMA
Mtka

I think any of these teams can knock each other off to win it.

Maple Grove 3 Hopkins 1 Great game to watch, game was 1-1 with 2:30 minutes remaining when Hopkins took a penalty. MG scored about a minute later on the PP for the game winner and added a open netter after that. Hopkins showed they are a contender this year in D3. Very physical game with numerous in...
