Does anyone know why D8 has their own league? There are only 4 teams in it. Why dont they just put them with the metro league?

Looks like D8 is down to 4 teams this year. Does any one know why those teams don't just join the metro league?

Nobody in D8 plays A except for Woodbury this year. Almost every year a District 8 team wins state. It will remain like that untill the strong district 8 teams step up and play at the level they should.

Anybody know any of the scores as of yet?

The huge programs are the same reason nobody plays in the A league anymore. Nobody can compete with the 5-6 top programs every year.

Wont this create an advantage for the assocations with 2 JGB teams? Now they can play one american and one national, wont have to take any must take seniors, and can stack one team. I see nobody being able to beat Edina, Wayzata, Minnetonka and WBL, ER if they still don't field an a team.

I was working at the Edina tournment this weekend. The Tartan team left half way through the third place game. The coach was unhappy with the officals. How does everyone feal about leaving a game early because of officals?

In Junior Gold B with the exception of last year the winner is usually a D8 team, due to the fact D8 doesnt have an junior gold a league.

Watching a Private school win the class A tournment every year

If I played in Wayzata I would be dissapointed if i made the blue team knowing i was getting the weaker of the coaches.

How are the Wayzata teams picked? The last two years the Gold team has clearly been better than the blue team. Is the Gold team stacked or just better coached?

What happened to the White Bear Orange team. WBL always had one team called WBL orange with the same coaching staff. Did the coach retire or something?

Hudson always played in D8, now RAVE and St Thomas play D8 and Hudson is in Merto league. Does any one know how theese changes came about?

Is Hudson able to play in the metro league playdowns or the state tournment?

Who had the imput on this decision? Are there any players, coaches, commissioners out there that got consulted, or had any say in this dicison?

I heard the Metro hockey league is going to one and a half minute penalty's. Is this true? and what is everyones opnion on this?

Bellows has a Kid on the Pee Wee A team. Don Beaupre has a Son who playes on the JV team, Giles only son older 30 or so and never played HS hockey.

Minnetonka, Wayzata, Edina, White Bear Lake and Eden Praire are pretty much in the hunt every year.

Why dont you guys just play U16 next year they you can really dominate?
