Maybe it's just me but what's happened to this confrence over the year's? It doesn't seem like there is much talent up and down in this confrece as their use to be. WB doesn't have the talent at all like they use to. Woodbury- Once in while produces a kid or 2..Roseville poor. Park-Aweful. Hastings-...

I guess i didn't realize i was in a spelling contest with a couple of 3rd grade spelling champs.. At least you both have at least one thing to brag to your friend about.. Trouble is it doesn't look like either of you reached 4th grade reading yet.. Is that really all you can come back with? My spell...

Nobody on here is jealous?... Yea ok  Sorry.. So it sounds to me like your ok with STA recruiting as long as they opt up to AA and do it there just like Hill and Benilde do? Are we really suppose to buy that? Is that really your argument? I'd be willing to bet your probably jealous because the...

Lou's a legend as far as i'm concerned. But, IMO Chorske on the Wild telecast's and Housley could be the 2 worst announcer's i can remember. Why do they always feel that we need former Goofer's and former MN High School player's calling the games?

Jealosy breeds Ignorance and nobody likes a winner.. Plain and Simple! Most of the complaints on this board come from either 12-17 year olds who don't want an education or parents who can't afford to send their kids to STA and can't admit that it's the main reason for there animosity towards the sch...

Why isn't there more outrage in the media to get rid of this clown? How much further does this program have to fall before they stop the bleeding? 6 zip in your own house, are you kidding me? Also, don't these kids have any self respect? You would think someone on this roster would stand up and have...

What about Ryan Walters? I'm almost sure his time is up in the USHL. Isn't Tyler Barnes a gopher recruit too? I just don't understand bringing Bjustad and Alt straight in from high school. Is this a for sure? You would think Lucia would have got the message from all his other previous blunders. The ...

I agree with most of that, but i for one think the problems run deeper than just a few kids not living up to their potential. Don't get me wrong. Nick Larson-P.White-N. Sachetti-A. Ness. All these guys were big studs coming out high school and none have come even close to living up. Schroeder and Fa...

Exactly Mulefarm, but this is one huge reason why Goldies boys are on the outside looking in. This team didn't deserve any other fate. Some one should have driven Frattin's face into the ice. Then Blood drives his elbow into Kangas as Fairchild runs like a little school girl. They could trade Fairch...

Schroeder would have been a good pick. Yes, but the fact still remains he's still at the U too. I'm not so sure his development hasn't suffered as well. Not sure why. Is it coaching? Lack of talent around him? Is he playing with as much passion as in the past? Has he peaked? All good questions. I st...

I for one think it's a great trade. I give Fletcher credit for not being afraid to pull the trigger. He's proven already this year he knows talent. I also heard the Wild were worried about Leddy's development at the U. Still think he would have been alot better off in the OHL or the WHL He'll rot if...

It's simple. It's because there is alot more taltented kids nationwide than there ever use to be. It's about dam time.. Just another arogant Canadien who thinks he invented the game. He's cost this franchise at least 2-3 years of starting over again because of his Zero eye for talent and the terrible decisions he's made. As far as i'm concerned.. Good riddance Dougy..

Zach Buddish plays SMALLER than he is. His size will only carry him so far in the WCHA. He's had the luxury of being bigger and stronger than most he's played against the past 3 year's. Throw in the fact he hasn't played in a year and no one really knows how he will react. Let's not get too far ahea...

One things for sure. Welch and his posse or... Larry, Moe and Curly(coaching staff) as some Hastings fans refer to them as, won't have any kind of game plan and his team won't be ready to play, but that's typical and predictable because this is what the fans down in Hastings have grown accustomed to...

Without question Kangas is not the same goaltender he was, but the gopher D is horrible. One example: Aaron Ness is not ready for big time college hockey and I for 1 do not think he will ever live up to his billing. Awesome pond hockey talent, but he will never be able to contain the bigger stronger...

You might want to start by asking Phil Housley how tough it is to coach.
He's had the most under achieving program in the State for several year's running now.. With no end in sight. We can only pray to the high Heavens that when Willy's gone Phil's right behind him. What a mess..

Relax.. Remember Housley's still running the show.If there was ever going to be a year, yes this would be it. Housley won't be able to get the kids to believe they can do it... Plain and simple. To be honset i hope this is the year, so we won't have to listen to him announce.
