Big time players show up for big time games.
Is he a 10th year SR? AHA has not been a "top AA" team for years.

Kind of funny, STMA joins 8AA and now wants to complain about road trips. The section has been doing it for years, in fact the semis and final used to both be played in St. Cloud and several times, Roseau, as the #1 seed made the trip twice. It may be time to drop hockey north of St. Cloud and just...

Can someone from STMA tell me when they last won a section game? Has to be over 10 years or ever? Time to get one this year. From what I know, STMA has only ever won a sectional play in game in their history as they were always a 8-9 seed. 3 Seasons ago was the first non play in game seed (#6 vs #3...

but looks like StMA has #3 but not sure how the north teams will vote as they did tie and then lose to Roseau.
STMA has only played Roseau 1X and tied.

OK, thanks for that info. I was just having a hard time believing there are 15 teams better than they are. And that they're that much worse of a team than they were a week ago. I do realize that they need to be penalized for those two losses; it's just a question of how much. Or, the previous conse...

Monticello is playing in 5A per the latest section assignment thread.

Not much can be said about that effort last night. When you can't stay out of the box and give up PP goals like that, well can't overcome that. No matter how much bashing you give, the kids played the schedule they had and the parents are proud of what they accomplished. Good luck to the remaining t...

It's pretty simple after last night with STMA beating Cloquet. ER, GR, DE, STMA, Cloq, Andover, FL and St. F STMA has a good record but soft schedule, GR get 2 because of win vs East and east gets 3 because of narrow win vs STMA and loss vs GR. Give one good reason East should be 2 or STMA should b...

As parent of an STMA player I want to say to Mazak55...... R.E.L.A.X. Remember as far as HS hockey, our program has to PROVE that they can play with the teams with winning histories. This group of kids has been very successful in getting the STMA name out there, just let their play speak for itself....

Shaver who cares about Flake and Dover. Where were the East kids?? I'm sure the East nation will tell us what's up. East is deep with decent players, but not so much with top-end players. There are a couple others who were probably close, but didn't make it given the depth of quality players in 7A ...

As somebody that has watched both Luverne and Chisago Lakes play against my sons team, there is no comparison; Chisago is better, more speed, more grit and also has goal scorers.
